  • Hi all,

Waited up last night for the online sale and was rather dissappointed that none of my items went half price. I was really after the Lego as my son is Lego mad and its so expensive to buy.

Was initially upset that had waited up but managed to get 2 really fantastic Lego deals at Amazon that was less than half the price than what they would have been at Sainsburys if they had gone half price.

Anyway got up this morning at 5.30 and went to the Wickford store for 6.30, was really pleased with what i got. Got 15 Lego sets including the Lego city firestation which I was really pleased about as dont usually find the large lego sets instore.

I notice that people seem to be after Toy story, in the wickford store they had plenty of Buzzes and Woodys instore not sure about now as we left at about 9.30.
  • I got one from Tesco a couple of months back using double up CC vouchers if I remember right it was £17.99 in there I think it wiggles it's nose and squeaks might even walk it's in the loft waiting for santa

I saw it once and nearly melted when it wheeked!

Might go and nosey in another store tomorrow
Im also looking for the leapfrog pink microphone my dd would love it!
If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!
  • Been a bit of a lurker on this site for a couple of days and did sit up last night waiting for the online sale that never happened! Just got back from Sainsburys Milton Keynes and managed to grab a few of the lego games (inc harry potter), talking Waybaloo, Zingsilla stuff, lots of v-tech and fisher price baby toys, Monoploy city, lots of hot wheels stuff and a few stocking fillers.

The staff are bringing cages of toys out all the time and there seems to be tonnes of buzz lightyears! If anyone is thinking of going and wants a heads up as to what they have out, i'd be happy to help!

  • I had planned not to go to the sale this year, but after reading this thread you guys had wound me up in a bargain hunting frenzy and convinced me to go! (I totally blame peer pressure :D)

I had planned to get there for store opening this morning at 7am, but my bed was too warm and cosy, so I finally made it to store for 8am.

There were quite a few people grabbing bargains, but all very polite bargain hunting, no shoving or pushing and just a generally nice atmosphere.

There was lots on the shelves and more being brought out from the back.

    I managed to get:

    Air hogs gravity cars x 2 - £19.99 each
    Mini science kit x 3 - £2.24 each
HM Armed Forces airplane gun - £4.99
    Bendaroos theme set - £2.74
    Bendaroos 3D pack - £6.49
Nerf strike deploy gun - £9.99
    Star wars lego - £17.49
Toy story army figures lego - £4.99
DR who top trumps - £1.99
    Lego minifigure - £1.00
    Tech deck skateboard x 2 - £2.49 each
Toy story bucket of soldiers - £6.49
    Lego Lotso truck - £7.49
Lego Pizza planet truck - £17.49
    Playdoh set x 2 - £2.99 each
    Bindeez Pen set - £3.49
    Lego helicopter - £4.99
    Lego games Minotaurus - £5.05
    Lego atlantis set - £4.49
HM Armed forces parachute action figure - £4.99

    (This was the Truro store)

Went to Watford High Street at 08.30am. No customers and plenty of stock (all labelled up). We bagged a few items, but was amazed at the price of some of the items (even at 1/2 price). Lucky my daughter is only 13months!!
Plenty of stock available in the toy section and at the end of isles. Worth the trip.

    Was there any Sylvanian stuff?
