Rang them they're going to have a look and call me back, are you sure it's the right one it's huge?

Ahh, I'm not sure now. I just remember passing large boxes as you walked in and some were definately kitchens, but can't be 100% it's that one. Hope I haven't built your hopes up in case it's the wrong one :(

Has anyone seen Babyborn Doll, feeding or potty one or Baby Annabell?? Desp trying to replace DD's lost one that she misses, just cannot spend another £35+ on one! KENT AREA!!!
    TIA
  • My lovely husband went to Castle Vale, Birmingham store this morning before work. He was really pleased with what he got for our two boys; two Dr Who remote control Daleks (apparently they interact / battle each other!), two little sets of Lego (a helicopter and a camper van), a Kung Zhu Hamster, and a Kung Zhu hamster Battle tank. :j Really delighted; we've set a strict limit on how much we spend on each of them this year, and had told them not to expect too many toys this year; now they will get this between them, a few tiny stocking things, and a Flickr each!:T

The lady on check out told my DH that the sale is on for three weeks, and they would be restocking some, but not all of the items, so we might go back next week (after pay day!)and get presents for our nieces and nephews. :D

They had Buzz Lightyears in stock when DH was in (at around 9am).

But if someone doesn't want to say the area they live in then that's their choice!! There could be a number of reasons why they don't want to give out that info. In my area there is only 1 Sainsburys. I had a terrible experience years ago with someone who lived in America, got all my personal details, my only silly mistake but she made my life misery for months, I had to get the police involved in the end and put a stop to it. So PLEASE do not tell me or anyone else they should be more helpful by posting info they may not be happy posting! Or try to make others feel bad for getting the bargains they wanted.
There are people here who cannot get to stores for whatever reason, I am sure some of those people are absolutely devastated but they don't come here moaning about it and trying to make others feel bad.

Oh and your point about Christmas can bring out the worst in people......probably the only thing I agree with that you've said!

I'm not trying to bully people into giving details as quite frankly I don't care where they live.

Please don't mix stupidity with paranoia (I'm not calling you stupid but never put on the internet anything you wouldn't want to tell a stranger on the street, it's a simple lesson)

People do sound devastated but as a child I didn't get loads of things I wanted, I got over it and always had a great christmas, it just seems to me that a lot of people had expectations based on assumptions and hearsay rather than fact and that will always lead to disappointment.

I actually said it's sales that bring out the worst in people, christmas just makes it worse.

I'm an athiest and would quite frankly be happy buying the kids presents in the post christmas sales but my other half won't let me, so we make do.

and now I feel I'm picking on you, I'm not. I'm just using you to express my 20 years of insomnia and I'm sorry.
