I got (online) RC Landrover for hubby (he's a big kid!) and a car park toy for the boys. sainsbury's don't sell an awful lot that I wanted anyway so I'm happy with those.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I got everything I wantedand everyone there was really nice!
There were quite a few buzzs on the shelf and woodys too, which didn't last long, but then I got around the corner and there was a pile of at least 30 deluxe buzzs!!
I was at Bitterne too this morning! I was VERY impressed especially after seeing how some people were behaving at other stores. I manged to get everything for my little boy, the deluxe buzz, lego sets, action link, gormiti set. My Son was with me (my Mum stayed with him at the end of the aisle) and even though he saw what was in the trolley, he was so tired when we got home he had forgotten!0 -
Back from St Albans now.
Wow, quite quiet in the toy aisles - well stocked and staff still unpacking boxes as well!! Everything seems to be in stock and lotsof displays around store for the bigger items
Well worth a trip if you are nearby0 -
Well I fell asleep at 3am, the excitement must have kept me up and got woken by OH at 5am, 5.15am and 5.30am - I was having none of it
finally got up at 7.30 and was in Sainsburys, with DD at 8am.
I got -
2X Peppa pig playground
1X mini Peppa talking George (£1.99 small one)
1x Elefun game
1x Microwave
1x fur real Kitten (dd been asking for a real one so this will keep her happy I hope)
2x Disney Princess Jewellery
and...............
My bargain..............
4x Harry Potter 20q for 34p each!! was 68p!?!?!?!?!
These are for 2 of my nephews and 2 of my friends boys!
I was gutted that nothing I originally wanted was instore and off to a bigger Sainsbury later.
More gutted with the fact that last year there was a full aisle, 1 full side and 1 half side full of toys, this year, just half a measly aisle and 1 side only!!!! None of the little bits and peices I got a stock fillers last year, toy phone, playdough tubs, crowns etc..... Very disappointed this year!!
Oh and the store was empty two hours after they opened with shelves pretty much full of more than 3 items!!0 -
Not sure where you live, but Sainsburys Heaton Park had quite a few in near the door.
Rang them they're going to have a look and call me back, are you sure it's the right one it's huge?
