the one instore is the same one as online (version 4), so if thats the one you want, then i would ask on here to see if anyone has seen stock at your local store

the version 5 doll, has voice recognition, so when someone talks, it turns its head towards them. now i dont know if thats a good thing, or a tad freaky for a child (visions of exorcist)

    F

omg:eek: Version 5 sounds like bride of chucky :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It's the version 4 then :) I've check all local stores around me and no joy ... I had over 18 items in my basket last night and its really the only thing i wanted - serves me right for be greedy :D

Filled my basket last night in preparation, just looked and all the toys are still there but still full price. Is the sale not on all toys??

Not online but instore all toys are half price.

Im glad i took hubby as he stayed with lo and trolly (to guard buzz hehe) and i ran up and down the isles,
i wanted zhuzhu pet things too for my daughter and only managed to get the garage and a ninja hamster, may brave it tomorrow and try for a woody and slinky but my son is only 2 so im sure he will be happy with just buzz if not,
had a look yesterday in preperation for today and daughter wanter the hello kitty teddy thing half price to £4.99 but noticed when i got home with it today they mush have put bigger ones out instead cause the one I got was £20 half price to £10 slightly sneaky i feel
I know how you feel I thought the potato head was £10 reduced to £5 but there were only the animated ones (never seen these before) and it was £50 reduced to £25:eek:! V sneaky I feel. May try tomorrow too if I can talk hubby round (wish I could drive) *gulp*. :)

I would try if it's not going out of your way. They definitely had the Buzz Jet packs in stores, can't help you with the other things you're after though, sorry.

    CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!

I've just got back from a mad toy rush :) When I got through the till I checked my receipt and 4 of the items didn't register as 50% off. I went to Customer Services and was refunded another £20, so check them carefully!!

  • Hessle/Hull main store didn't have a great deal, Only 1.5 isles, but more "big" stuff than last year. Plenty of Toy Story Lego. Some SF, Barbie, Zuzu, Lego (inc toy story) Polly Pocket, Liv, Transformers, Animagic, Furreal, Nerf, Large Fisher Price things too, Peppa Pig bits... Large Disney stuff toys. Arts/Crafty things, paperrooz (is it?) moon dough,
Everything instore is HALF marked price - unlike online.

The staff are restocking over night - I heard several commenting on the fact. It seems that the aim is to keep as much available for as long as possible.

It's worth a trip to see what your store has, - if mine is anything to go by - - it opened at 8 - was mad for 30 minutes then was comparitively empty.
  • Not long got back from Bitternes Sainsburys, there were about 20 people waiting, but the shelves were full!

I got everything I wanted :) and everyone there was really nice!

There were quite a few buzzs on the shelf and woodys too, which didn't last long, but then I got around the corner and there was a pile of at least 30 deluxe buzzs!!
