Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!
  • Hiya ev1 ,
well after the dissapointed online i went to Hemel Hempstead apsley store and there is lots of stuff but its scattered all over the shop. The normal toy isle has a few bits but then theres loads of stuff on the shelves above the freezers and then more stuff on the end of isles and random places near the ends around the store

there was lots of SF Windmills left, loads of lego , CE buzz etc

Does anyone know if the furreal gogo walking pup is an online only??

Was the thing i most wanted but isnt half price

Been to my local store, Letchworth, this morning with my mum and there was a fair bit of stuff, was flying off the shelves though.
They had Toy Story Buzz, Fireman Sam playset, playdoh, loads of Vtech stuff, 3rd and bird bits, postman pat and guess with jess, Moxie Girlz, a few barbies, quite a few dolls, talking waybuloos, loads of lego.

Has anyone seen the Barbie glitterizer doll or wardrobe or horse carriage half price?

I did overhear the staff saying there was loads of stuff that hadnt been put out in the warehouse, Harry Potter stuff.
  • did anyone see Barbie Glitterizer in any store?

Was at Darnley Sainsburys this morning at 8.20 and it was really busy and it just got worse as time went on, the assistants couldnt re-stock the shelves quick enough and some of them couldnt even get anywhere near because there were so many shoppers in the aisles, they actually had to close the aisles for about 20 mins to re-stock in peace.

There was something to do with Fireman Sam fairly big box at the end of Pharmacy, loads left. Sorry don't know what it was exactly. Tbh apart from that mostly seemed stocking filler stuff, jigsaws etc

That's Darlington. Wondering if i should try Stockton (is it big there??)

Stockton - very little that I saw, just tucked away near the pharmacy as per usual.

Went to both stores in Exeter this am, not brilliant for me, the only thing they had that I wanted that they had was the SF windmill which for some reason is a fiver more expensive in store then it is online. Wasnt that busy, but congested in the aisles making it feel busier.

Must admit that I am dissapointed, was really hoping that would be the same as last year, its mainly along the same lines as the Tesco 1/2 price sale, lots of items they want to shift, which is great if you want those specific items.

Must admit, was reali dissappointed considering the size of the stores, no star wars lego, just crap reali, sighs, looks like I will have to buy full price lego :(
    I love a Bargain
  • stockton is a decent size but if u can get to middlesborough (which is the one im plannin on going to) it bigger and stocks a lot more im deperate to get the fireman sam stuff my DS is crazy about him so if i cant get it there then maybe a trip to darlington is going to be on the cards :D
  • Have done the rounds again.
Smart trikes in Letchworth & Stevenage
Stevenage (Coreys mill & Poplars) had some different things to the Letchworth store. Crayola stuff, bigger furreal section, dolls.

Has anyone seen the peppa pig house abd thomas trains sets (not the Hornby one)?

    Thanks
