sainsburys half price toy sale?when is it?

I spent £140 this morning and got almost all my Christmas presents. I bought the Fireman Sam playset, some jigsaw puzzles, the littlest petshop, a car garage, Postman Pat set, some toy cars, pretend play things (washing machine, hoover etc), Peppa Pig toys, baby toys, some Toy Story bits and some lego! Phew!

I wasnt the only one walking around with an overflowing trolley either. This was in Lakeside, Essex.

That was surprisingly pleasant. Pretty much nothing off my online list was on sale, but that is to be expected (duplo, large lego sets and stinky the garbage truck). I did get everything else I needed though, some lego, sylvanians for the niece, baby toys. Everyone was there at opening, and shelves got cleared quickly, but then people trickled out and staff came in to restock. So anyone arriving later still got the same stuff, except Woodys...
I then visited my local sainsbury's and finished my list off (scout and a dancing elephant - who can resist!)
The expensive presents will just have to stay on the wish list...

Didn't see any playmobil stuff. If you have a Costco local to you there is a lot there.
