sainsburys half price toy sale?when is it?

My first thought this morning when i woke up was "oh no what if i've missed it all!!"

This is bad, roll on next week so i can get on with my life :rotfl:

It was the Furreal Frenzies playset down to 11.00, I know these were on offer in a few other Sainsburys, but it was just there 1/2 price all other toys around it normal price.

I went in this am to have a gander, the only half price thing i saw was: BAKUGAN BakuBowl Arena.which was half price to £12.99 (i think) but at argos its that price anyway now anyway so if you were after this and its gone at argos try sainsburys or vice versa!(argos number) 388/3956

Right guys i thought id add my comments LOL!! I asked my nan to call 3 stores in my area and play the old lady routine. She said " i wonder if you could please tell me when the half price toy sale will be on, as im 75 years old and last year i came in and bought lots of toys for my great granchildren and then 2 days later they where all half price" (lol i love my nan shes priceless).:j Anway the responses she got from the stores where as follows:

Store 1 said : "we are not 100% sure ourselves yet"

Store 2 said : "i think it could be next thursday as i over heard a manager saying she needed to be in on the wednesday night to get ready for the toy sale"

Store 2 said : " its next thursday 28th, so make sure you save your money till then, dont go buying any toys until next thursday":T

I should have asked her if she could find out if its online this year but i dont think they would believe that a 75 year old lady would use the internet, but funnily enough she does.:rotfl:

That's so funny about your nan. I bet she is a great one to return stuff in difficult situations like when you've lost your receipt for something.

Im (embarrasingly ) getting all excited now!

Will be at the ready on comp come 11.30pm on weds and if not online then I will be queuing at my local Sainsburys come 6am.....hopefully alone
Did any open early last year for this does anyone know!?

Me too!...more worryingly for me I don't have any toys left to buy!:D

I will pop in to the store Thursday morning (will have my kids with me but might treat them if they see anything)
