Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure last year it was just toys and then computer consoles and games where in a seperate sale a few weeks later. I cant remember what percentage they knocked off but it wasnt as good as half price.

Hi guys, just had a great result, one of the toys I was after already reduced to half price in Sainsburys today. Snapped it up, makes me feel a bit better at not being able to get there next week.

I phoned my local Sainsbury's and was told that they will be having one in the next few weeks but they don't know the date as it's TOP SECRET, so all least they will be having one... It's just down to finding out the date, last year got all my Christmas and b'day presents for the little ones for £300 bargain! I have provisionally booked the morning of 28th off work so fingers crossed as it was Thursday in 1/2 term last year.

I have been told through a friend of someone who works at sainsburys that is indeed next Thursday....

I had pre-filled my basket last year and stayed up on the off chance that it would go live at 12 midnight ( lots and lots of posters plus official info from Sainsburies were adament that it was instore only last year and definately not online - imagine my delight when my basket halved in price and I checked out no problems in 3 minutes!!). I suspect that this year things will not be as smooth on line as it is much more widely known. I am half expected that site to crash TBH so am not banking on anything - but if it works out it is a bonus!
