  • I have the black Rosemary Conley Low Fat cook book which some have recommended and I love it. It has lots of unfussy, easy ideas that all the family like. I picked mine up up in a charity shop, but saw these here:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/0712679642/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

Didn't check postage, so may need to go through them for best deal.

Hope you get some relief soon.

    Hello People,

A friend of mine has had her gall bladder removed due to stones, the outcome of this is that her body rejects most food. The doctor has told her to move to a fat free diet.

Does anyone have any recipes/ideas/snacks/foods that they can recommend that are either fat free or as close as they might as well be?

Hi , my niece has recently had hers removed but luckily she is now able to eat fattier foods, it was before the op that they gave her trouble. Anyway, she found quorn a good food especially as it comes in so many forms eg mince, chunks etc., quark cream cheese, skimmed milk, low fat crackers and snack a jacks and apples and apple juice helped to break down the fat. She ate lots of chicken and pasta. Some slimming world/ weight watchers foods are good - just have to look at the labels. Good luck for your friend.

hth and if I think of anything else I'll pop back. :)

you can make a low fat carbonara using gammon steaks and a small amount of vegetable stock as the base for the white sauce, adding half a teaspoon of mustard to give the sauce flavour (no butter or cheese needed).
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

My hubby is on a FF diet, he likes the Aisnley Harriet Cous Cous, served with roasted vege and a piece of grilled or baked fish:) I also make him a fatless tea loaf which he enjoys:)
