Fabulous Friday the 3rd September Daily chat (And challenge!)

Morning all :hello:

May I just say exercise is magic - it's my second 'visit' since I started and almost all the niggles are now non existent:j

So to celebrate I thought we'd have a wee challenge

1. Instead of the Friday 'treat' (bacon roll or whatever) put the money in your savings /debt busting fund

2. Pick a drawer/bag/cupboard/box and sort it out. Rubbish in the bin. Unwanted items to the ebay pile/charity shop

3. List 3 items on ebay or take that overflowing cjarity bag to the shop finally

4. Devote 15minutes to some form of exercise (and yes doing housework at full tilt does count, as does any activity that gets you sweaty;))

5. Pay something forward

    Morning Luc

Glad that the exercise is paying dividends for you:)

You have persuaded me to drop our usual Friday night takeaway and I have now taken out some chicken from the freezer and will have ciabatta chicken melts for dinner with salad.

........£20 in the savings pot and a thank you from my muffin top:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning

I'll try and do some of the challenges later but mind is rather pre-occupied on appeal hearing this morning. I feel sick and know that I'll find it virtually impossible to hold it together without crying.

    tmif,
On that advert people's guts are talking, they're all hippies and they all sound like Arthur Smith. Given that I don't see any reason why a muffin top can't talk.

Lou, does yours have a particular accent? :D

Whoops, I've already had my bacon roll! :p But to make some small amends I have also put the price of it in my pound collections - maybe having to pay twice will keep me away from the bacon next time!! :)

    Also, Morning All! :D

Sally - Best of luck for today, they really do try and make you feel at ease so just relax and make sure you get all yours points across.

DD2 went back to school today, luckily she loves school so was raring to go. Being up so early does mean that all my houseworky jobs are done (I've even ironed 20 things - just don't look at how many are left in the pile).

Just having a coffee before heading into town with DH, we've got lots of paperwork to sort this afternoon as we heard (unofficially) yesterday that his claim for PHI has been accepted :T It's taken the company 9 months to sort  Now for the task of finding out how much they're going to pay, what the back pay is and how much of that we need to pay back to various benefits agencies....oh the joys!

Morning all. Fingers very much crossed for you and B Sal x

    Oh goodie a challenge :)

    1. Instead of the Friday 'treat' (bacon roll or whatever) put the money in your savings /debt busting fund - brought lunch and making tea instead of a Friday night takeaway, will go and pay £10 into overdraft

    2. Pick a drawer/bag/cupboard/box and sort it out. Rubbish in the bin. Unwanted items to the ebay pile/charity shop - not sure if I've got any of this to do!

    3. List 3 items on ebay or take that overflowing cjarity bag to the shop finally - as above!

    4. Devote 15minutes to some form of exercise (and yes doing housework at full tilt does count, as does any activity that gets you sweaty;)) - gym at lunchtime

    5. Pay something forward - see what I can do!
