Thank goodness its friday, work is totally mental at the moment and my fears for not having enough numbers is out the window:)
I have 19 on one course and 20 on the other and that is before the part time classes enrol next week:T
So I have a job for the next year at least.
Another bonus, I forgot that I had a bottle of wine on top of the fridge as it was hiding behind the slow cooker!
Sally, so sorry to hear about B's appeal:(But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
been blackberry picking, got a few i don't think enough to do anything yet as the little girl we took needed the loo. will go again tomorrow.
how do i soak them in and how long?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Am P***ed off. Have gpt new gas struts for car boot but my boot has one that carries electrical current. The new ones don't. The company doesn't make ones that do.
Need to decide whether to try bodge jobs with the electrical leads or try to obtain one from Ford, when my car is no longer made by Ford, and if I do, to try to get a refund on the other strut I paid for

Bokie staggers in shattered after a day shopping with both DDs. Both had purses full of birthday money. DD2 couldn't find anything she liked barr a pair of earrings. I could have bought loads but didn't obviously.

We dropped both GSs off at my ex's as DDs wanted me to go with them (I volunteered to have the little one who lives near me) so we had a detour at both ends of the trip and I had to be nice to him again.
SIL has made a point of thanking them on FB - didn't do that when I had his son for 2 days and nights!
However, rant over and chill.
Trouble is , I really fancy a takeaway - I don't usually so can I be excused Luc's challenge?
Sal - if B now has such a long trip to school aren't the local authorities supposed to provide transport as they cannot accomodate her nearer or have I missed something?0 -
Yes Bookie.....you certainly may be excused! What takeaway will you have?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
I will probably not to be honest. I'm too mean nowadays!

I have found a frozen chilli and some garlic bread in the freezer so will have that if I bother at all.
I have wine though. :beer:0 -
Bookie yes they do however the schools they want her to go to are the roughest and most run down areas and there is no way on earth I'll be sending her there. I guess because it's my choice to keep her at old school they won't contribute to costs.
Just very mad about it. Lady from appeal panel phoned at 5 to say she had been refused. All other people there today were also refused places so don't feel so bad about it now!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hugs Sal. It is right - if you choose to send her to a school out of area I think you have to bear the cost. I had the same with mine - refused the local Grammar School and sent the 10 miles away. Not as bad as your journey but it was worth it in the end. I hear that it is now impossible to get out of area children into the school I chose. You'd think they'd wake up and sort out the schools people are trying to avoid.
Gonna be blooming hard work for you.0 -
@ sal - :grouphug:
I accidentally forgot to empty my bin before I went home.
I'm a little _pale_ now after doing it. I think I'll get some more stuff from the car, the fresh air might help.
