my rings have been found :) so been to jewellers to have my white gold wedding ring made smaller and my gold eternity ring masde smaller and my amethyst ring made bigger (the white gold ring needs to go to a factory to see if it can be made smaller cause of the pattern on it) my mystic topaz ring is in the safe will get that altered another time :)

Luc i can't afford to do cd no more so i'm trying to calorie count :( (although the lovely beanie sent me a weeks worth which i will start monday :)

been using a pedometer sp? or whatever they are called to count my steps only put it on at 12 though so won't get an acurate reading today , (how many steps are you supposed to do anyway?)

BB all my curtains in my house my lovely dad made ( need new really now had these for years but a bit reluctant to take them down as he is no longer here now :( is that silly? ) my house is mostly creams, but my mum bought some red cushions and they look lovely, thinking about saving up and getting a red and cream rug now.

I'm having lamb kofte kebabs and salad for tea :) (50p a pack from asda :)

Butti - I applied for a PCDL yesterday. Berklays promised a decision by post in 10 days so am waiting hopefully. I could take the money from the emergency fund but would rather not. This way I can save the fees during the year and pay it off at the end.

    'grats on marriage Claire.

Professional and Career Development Loan. It is a loan for studying for those of us who can't get grants. It is a bank loan at 9.9% APR but the interest is paid for by the government whilst the course is running and then after the course the repayments start. My plan is to save during my course and then pay it off at the end, so incurring no interest payments personally :)

  • Hello all,

Just got back from Chesterfield, where I stayed the night at my dad's to break my journey up. I'm having a quick relax before I start unpacking the car as it's a bit of a walk with heavy boxes. After that, I think I'll collapse in a heap for a bit. :D

I did that with my glasses once. I had no choice but to rescue them... and put them back on  (after rinsing them obv).

    Claire, congrats on the anniversary!

I've just put in my insurance claim, I did it online. I don't know why yesterday's phone message didn't say you could do that, it's much easier.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
