Butti - I applied for a PCDL yesterday. Berklays promised a decision by post in 10 days so am waiting hopefully. I could take the money from the emergency fund but would rather not. This way I can save the fees during the year and pay it off at the end.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Professional and Career Development Loan. It is a loan for studying for those of us who can't get grants. It is a bank loan at 9.9% APR but the interest is paid for by the government whilst the course is running and then after the course the repayments start. My plan is to save during my course and then pay it off at the end, so incurring no interest payments personally

Hello all,
Just got back from Chesterfield, where I stayed the night at my dad's to break my journey up. I'm having a quick relax before I start unpacking the car as it's a bit of a walk with heavy boxes. After that, I think I'll collapse in a heap for a bit.

I did that with my glasses once. I had no choice but to rescue them... and put them back on  (after rinsing them obv).
Claire, congrats on the anniversary!
I've just put in my insurance claim, I did it online. I don't know why yesterday's phone message didn't say you could do that, it's much easier.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
