    And some of the people associated with these practices actually have the gall to come on these forums to 'justify' their position:mad: :mad:

  • That is sick;

    Wheble was given a 'slim jim', a small plastic strip which can be used to unlock doors in 15 seconds. But perhaps the most extraordinary behaviour came from a public-school-educated bailiff working for CCS who was nicknamed "Mr Ladders' by his colleagues because he would climb up a ladder to intimidate people in their bedrooms.

    You know, if any bailiff climbed up a ladder to my bedroom whilst I was in the house, I'd push him off it onto the concrete below. Scum. And the quote about telling the two young children that their Mother would go to jail, that's just wrong.

    Thanks skint1 - I'll be watching this on Tuesday

    Hi from past experience with bailiffs I know the stuff is true. We never would open the door to them, all our business was shouted through the letterbox to try and shame us in front of neighbours ( quite funny really seeing a grown man on his knees shouting at the door) When they realised they couldn't shame us they then threatened to arrest me, only when my children were present. Also threatened to beat me up and who would believe me? Thing is I kept all their paperwork and it never came to the same amount. They couldn't explain any of their charges. I paid off what I owed. The bailiffs are still waiting for their fees all these years later. Quite miss them really. They provided hours of free fun. Just remember, like all vampires, they need to be invited in. (Unless they have a warrant, of course.) Just don't open the door at all--the letterbox arguments really are fun--and draw your curtains as they can't levy what they can't see, Our lot levied my watch--honestly, the van fee was listed as 1 black watch--because they couldn't see what was inside the flat.

    A) A bailiff (or and ex one)
    B) An employee of a DCA
    C) A member of that freakin brewery that put me in the mess im in (and now that that firms gone bust ... they are free to get jobs !! AAAGGG)

    I read an article about that this morning in the bbc site.

    How can such people possible be legal? Why are they given so many liberties? Why are their fraudulent practices overlooked by law? Why don't people harassed by those "people" just sue them?
    If I ever happen to meet one I swear I'll call the police first thing.
