Hi Joe_Millionaire,
Hmmm, I tend to agree - could you change the photo for a more appealing view? The inside looks good to me, the thing I would have a problem with is not being able to see where the front door is! Not very welcoming...
Also (if only borrowed for the photo!) a couple of plants/trees in tubs around your front door to soften the paving, draw the eye towards the house rather than the cars. Good to have that amount of parking though:T:j :TMFiT-T2 No.120|Challenge started 12.12.09|MFD 12.12.12 :j:T:j0 -

It is under priced in an ok area.

Any Tips?
Your house looks great from the outside....and the back garden is lovely.
Inside, however, it is very white!! Too white....it looks cold so maybe it will feel cold.
I would suggest you spend a few £££ on some pictures for the walls, some duvet covers and cushions and perhaps a bigger rug in the lounge.
The kitchen is a matter of taste....I personally dont like the tiling. It says to me 'Work needs doing here'
It all depends on how much you want to do or spend and how important it is for you to get the asking price. (which seems quite high....perhaps thats why you havent had any viewings as yet??)
Give yourself a time limit.....then have a review.0 -

I thought it looked fab, and quite similar to my house, which we accepted an offer on a couple of weeks ago. We got 8 viewings and 6 offers in a week, but there is not much in our area, and our house is unextended (therefore cheaper) but has big room sizes compared to some of the others who we would be competing with.
How do your room sizes compare to similar properties in your area? If they are smaller, then I would think you had to price cheaper than your competition.
Just another couple of things - I wondered if it might be stretching it to call the third bed a double - I can see you can get a double bed in there, but is it really a double? It would put me off if I thought people were trying to be cheeky with their descriptions. Similarly, your agent has put an awful lot of spelling mistakes/typos in the ad. I know it sounds silly, but this would put me off as well. That is not fair, and not a reflection of the property, but it would make me think your agent isn't putting much effort in...0 -

How does the price of your house compare with others in your area?

The problem is that the rest of our road is terraced houses and then there are 2 Semi's, so the price for my postcode is not exact.
P.s. - Anyone wanna buy a house?Max Millionaire191 007:T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T0 -
Hi
We've had about 8 viewings in just over a week which sounds quite good after reading through some of these posts.... another 4 booked for tomorrow.
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-13269220.rsp?pa_n=3&tr_t=buy
We're starting to get a bit jittery now...I guess we shouldn't but we've got an offer in on a house we want to buy.... there's another offer on the table so it's first come first served.
Fingers crossed!0 -
The details have two different prices on?Pawpurrs x0

Joe Millionaire - just a personal thing but if I was loking for a 3 bed house I'd want a bath ... sorry!!!
When we lived in our flat the guy next to us had been up for sale for 4 months and no offers (had a shower room). He ripped it out and put in a cheap bath and had an offer within 10 days. Has your estate agent given you any feedback?
I'm looking for somewhere at the moment near Bournemouth ... if I was looking up your way I would be interested in yours! It looks a decent well-looked after house and the price is fantastic compared with down here!!;)Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
Mortgage Overpayments Pot £10790 -
I am off to see the agent tomorrow to remove some pics and point out that we have not had any viewings since it has been on the market, I think if they don’t pull their finger out I will change agents.Max Millionaire191 007:T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T0
