Can bank charges be claimed back on business accounts as well as personal accounts? Charges for going overdrawn beyond overdraft?0

Basically yes.0

Hi, sorry if this is in wrong place, i am new to this and am looking for some advice.
If the business account is closed, can I still claim charges?
I no longer have the account number, if I ask the bank (Natwest) for the account number, do they have to provide it for me?
It was a limited company, if I did win a repayment of fees, who would the payment be made out to?
Hope this all makes sense, and hope some one can advise0 -

This seems to cover your question?0 -
Hi - I`m self employed - had a business account with the Nat west until a year ago. Incurred a lot of charges in the last couple of years of trading.
Can I claim these charges back? The business it relates to I no longer run & have closed down but I remain self employed.
It was not a Ltd company.
Sorry if this is a repeated question but I`d love an answer. Hope someone has the gen for me.0 -
I have sent off my claim to Lloyds TSB for my personal account, but I was wondering can I claim for my old business account that I use to have with them.
Thanks

hi, i claimed my money back from my barclays business account if that helps. i asked for £1160 and i accepted £750 .... i needed the money!!! barclays were a bit funny at first and offered me £450 but i rang them up and they put the money in my account within a week. they didnt close my account but i moved anyway. i should think as long as its within the 6 year time frame you should have no problems.0

Hi
I have an arranged overdraft facility of several hundred thousand pounds and turnover of £1m+. I am charged over £1K per year in service charges and charged £3K in renewal fees and other verbally agreed and signed for charges every year. On top of that I am charged a persentage over base on monies used on the overdraft facility. The renewal fee is annual, at the banks insistance, but is only a fee as the bank always renews and seldom change anything about the facility. There is a bond and floating charge attached to the account - and secured collateral. I have not yet heard of a successful refund for agreed charges (not default) on business account holders.
Has anyone?
