When your system is clean get rid of it and put a decent free AV on: Avira, Avast or MSE.

Hi, yes I tried the instructions but it won't let me open anything. If I go and buy an anti virus would that get rid of it or will the disc not work?

no, an antivirus is preventative, not for curing your problem. as macman said, its a bit late for that.

have you managed to boot into safe mode with networking yet?

You need to talk us through how you followed the instructions and what happened at each step.

If you have access to another pc/laptop download Superantispyware onto a usb memory stick and then plug it into the infected computer and run it.

Can you just confirm that you have booted in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING and you still cant get on the internet?

Hi, yes the screen is all enlarged. I have a feeling I'm going to have to pay to have the computer wiped clean. I'm well peeved off. Wait til my son gets home.
