I'm typing from my mobile. My computer has a virus. I cannot get onto the net at all. I keep getting two seperate flashing messages each saying. Application cannot be executed the file avgidsmonitor.exe is infected and the other one reads application cannot be executed the file wuauclt.exe is infected. I'll be going into the libruary soon because I can see better on a computer.

Try running Hitman Pro 3.5. If you can't install it in Normal Mode, try doing so in Safe Mode with Networking
Once installed, you can run it in Normal Mode by using the Force Breach Mode0 -
I cannot get on the web at all. I have tried to run spybot etc but the virus won't allow anything to run.0

When i was blocked using the internet via a virus i was able to download what i needed using, as i call it, the internet back door:
open up the calculator in accessories then
1) When you open the windows calculator, calc.exe, you can go to help and then click help topics.
Note: This can be done through any of the basic Windows applications, such as notepad.
2) Right click on the title bar and go to 'Jump to URL' (Blue bar at the top)
3) Type your URL (Make sure you put in http://)
EDIT: Just seen you cant open any programmes so this may not help:beer:0 -
so do I need to call someone in or buy an anti virus from the shop?0

Have you booted the computer up in safe mode as Donnie said? (post#2)
you do this by Restarting your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard as soon as it starts up, then select safe mode with networking:beer:0 -
You might have the Security Suite virus. My brother-in-law had a similarly nasty problem a couple of weeks ago but we managed to get the computer back up and running by following the automated removal instructions on bleepingcomputer dot com. Google 'bleeping computer security suite virus removal' and work through the steps. Basically you have to reboot in safe mode with networking (keep hitting f8 on startup) and then adjust settings in Internet Explorer to get internet access back and then download and run malwarebytes.0

If you can't click through the links in my instructions, perhaps you should go to the library in order to do so.
Then you can make notes and have a go. Don't worry, you won't do any damage by attempting my instructions on your own.0 -
Hi, yeah I have AVG but the virus has just come through. A bleedin porno.com page has just come up. Bleedin ek. I will have to wait until my daughter comes in to use her laptop otherwise at the month I'm doing this from my mobile. So if I reboot in safe mode I should be able to use the net?0

AVG is cr*p and your version is outdated.
Have you tried following the instructions?0
