oh dear, but at least they are trying to avoid redundancies. Will it make a big difference?
When I first read it I thought they were making him redundant so it was a relief to turn the page and read that new contracts would be offered. In the grand scheme of things it won't make a huge difference but DH isn't on a great wage.
Going to have a day out at the zoo today. It's showery but ok, rain in Devon is much heavier than here.
Grateful what was up with the weather. I will return to Devon but only to guaranteed sunshine!
Today I must also catch up on surveys!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
150 point survey completed on rewarded opinions - nothing else available as yet.
I sold an item on ebay on July 1st and it still hasn't been paid for! Messaged the 'buyer' yesterday but not sure what to do? I think it's their first time on ebay as they have a feedback score of 0.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
If you've left it a week and had no response, I would report it to ebay as a non-payment and see if they can sort it out. I think 7 days is plenty long enough for anyone to arrange payment. The fact that they have no feedback makes you a bit suspicious as well doesn't it?0

Still no payment for ebay item (which sold for £1.30!) and not sure how to report it so will look into it tomorrow. I tend to just check ebay on my phone.
Not a bad day money wise; sold a bag full of clothes for £12 and the lady collected them promptly so that was some quick decluttering! Although we are short of cash till payday (11 days away) I paid it straight off the mortgage as it was money I wouldn't have had otherwise. My next target of knocking another month off requires further OP's of £358 so every little helps.
Went to the Zoo and spent no money there as we came home for lunch. They have a dinosaur exhibition running over the Summer and it really was fantastic. DD said her favourite was the T-Rex!
Nothing on Onepoll today, got excited when I saw a survey for 40p but got screened out. I have been stuck on £38.10 all week! Am also up to 700 points on GTM so would be nice to hit payout this month. I last hit payout in April so I think it's a good one to keep going at.
Ordered the wall stickers for the baby's room from NEXT but still need to find a nice cot mobile. I want something in blue/cream animal themed as the bedding is Zebra and the stickers are animals too. The room is looking lovely and upstairs looks so much tidier as it was previously a dumping ground and now everything upstairs seems streamlined!
Having a few uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms which didn't get till the very end with DD. I am definitely more comfortable sitting down and baby doesn't feel ready to come out! Have tried to describe it to DH and he seemed sympathetic and advised I sit down - can't do that for 3 months!
Right, off to watch a scary film - 'Let me in'.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Sorry to hear you had such bad weather, it was brilliant on the east coast where we were. Didn't want to come back.OPs so far £42,139

We were unlucky with the weather but never mind - sunshine would have just perfected it.
I agree Michelle, it's not the most reliable site is it but I will keep trying.
SarahEvie, glad you had good weather and a good holiday
Have no plans today which is a shame as we are all off together, I am back to work tomorrow (only for 3 weeks then I'm off again!) and DH isn't back until Tuesday. I feel like we need a day out but can't think of where to go. I was wondering if there were any local fetes taking place so shall investgate.
Have half an episode of 'Spooks' left to watch so can list that boxset on Amazon this weekend. Hopefully that will make me about £10.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Ended up taking DD to soft play yesterday and she loved it!
Managed to declutter some more clothes which is fab.
DH's phone contract has ended so have got him a good sim only deal for £10 a month with £40 cashback. He's not overkeen on his phone but only uses it to ring me really and does have an i-pod touch if he needs a 'toy'! Cashback tracked really quick so just waiting for it to become payable then can overpay.
I'm back to work today after 16 days offAm glad DH is off today or I think it would come as a bit of a shock to DD!
Time for a cup of coffee and checking for surveys nowJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Ow on back to work after such a long break- always tough!!
Well done on the phone deal and c/b I need to look into some cashback deals for things as at the moment I seem to be spending without anything else!0 -
Hope you don't get the back to work feeling.. I always get it in September- I find panicking about some lesson I haven't planned always distracts me though!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
