Have read through your whole post & you're doing so well! I was relating to your house dilemma as a couple of months ago we found a new house we love and really want but it would be stretching us mortgage wise so made the difficult decision to stay put and over-pay the mortgage instead!

Great baragains on the baby stuff!

Thanks Moonchic, hope my ramblings weren't too boring. Yes we could afford our dream house but at what price and interest rates won't stay low forever. If they would I may have just moved but I dread to think what a £900-£1000 mortgage based on current rates would go up to.

Have checked online banking and mortgage hasn't updated?? Wonder where my OP has got to? Bank credits were from Tax credits too, I wonder if they will write to me to tell me they are increasing my payments? :)

    Hope your overpayment arrives safetly.

We would stretch ourselves as well to afford our dream house, so not sure it's worth it. There's plenty of time when the kids have gone to get a lovely bungalow with a garden that we can leave whilst we jet off on our cruises :D

Been on swagbucks quickly but need more time to see what it is all about.

Me too. Can someone (Michelle!) give us a quick run down as to how it works?

    Pretty please. :)

I can forward the message Flying Fresian sent to me as it's really useful. I have to say I'm not too keen on it at the moment!

It's a pain to start with, but now I use Swagbucks as my equivilant of other people's daily clicks. I log on first thing, earn 5-10SB and then use the toolbar for my searches for the rest of the day.

(If I want to actually find anything though I do use Google, the SB search engine is mince ;))

I might give it another go, it's just getting used to these new things isn't it.

Have had to ring Halifax as OP still not showing on mortgage balance but they have received it - phew :)

Feeling really tired after work this morning not helped that I was meant to take some time owed to me but ended up finishing late again and by the time I got home it was far too late for lunch :( I am soooo hungry but DH is making a chicken dinner :)

Done a few surveys on Onepoll but not much on there in the way of cash rewards at the moment, it's all prize draws.

Halifax account still not updated - what are they doing???? Current account is ready and waiting for payday on Monday!

Am looking forward to starting maternity leave mostly to get away from work! I was expected to do all the senior jobs yesterday and finished late! I have about 9 weeks left in work but am not actually working for 4 of them :D

Swagbucks is easy - i'd say the same as flying though, use google if you want anything useful finding, but i mainly get SB for going to sites i would anyway like OP.

At the moment I have the nectar tool bar so maybe I would be better off downloading the SB one instead. Tried really hard with surveys this morning will little success. OnePoll very quiet, kept getting screened out of Toluna and no new emails for the others.

Am finding food and petrol costs a struggle at the moment, the cost of living is extortionate!

Have worked out potential OP's for next 2 months, as I've had such a good June it's really made an impact. I only need to OP £150 next month to knock another month off my mortgage but will actually OP £250. Then if I can OP £270 in August (i.e £520 over next 2 months) I can knock another 2 months off and new MF date would be May 2029 when I'll be 46 as just before my birthday!

DD discovered her leap-pad books this morning and has been quite entertained by them.

Lovefilm dvds have arrived so hopefully watch 'Eat, Pray Love' when I finish work this evening. Seem to be working loads of late shifts at the moment :(

Nursery bedding and curtains arrived this morning - they're lovely! :j
