sorry to hear you had a rubbish day. I had one too
I never seem to knwo where I stand with my manager as she constantly changes her mind so I don't know if I'm ever doing the right thing or not. Hope your day improves. Are you working this weekend?

Rubbish hon. If you think you are right stick up for yourself is my only suggestion, and then keep counting down those days till you can avoid it for a while. I hope i helped you solve one problem today anyway - that one had been bugging me for months, and i am so pleased to solve it, and even happier if i can help some others solve it to.
If you get no joy there, my next plan was to start moaning on FB about it.They won't want bad publicity after all.

Yes you did hun, no response yet but hopefully i'll get money added!
Apparantly I was very much mistaken assuming that I was allowed to ask a question which many colleagues wanted to know the answer to. Apparantly since I'm not a manager I had no right! Shocking really! Makes it worse that the reason i was annoyed earlier in the week as I was the most senior on duty. I won't be doing that again if I'm not worthy enough to use my brain to formulate a simple question!
Feel better now DH is home and I have eaten chocolate and cake!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Yukkibear, forgot to say I am working but won't see manager for a while as she is the top one so you rarely see.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Feel much better this morning, my DM came round last night (she works in same profession as me) to help me 'deal with it'.
Today is a new day and I have lots to do but catching up on here first. DH had already left for work when DD and I came downstairs at 7:15am. I really need to make a note of what hours he works each day. He's on a 37 hour contract but seems to work 8-5 5 days a week with no break. Hmmmm, I'm not too happy with him doing a 45 hour week for no extra pay.
Sold another bundle of clothes which should net about £16 profit after postage. The rest is going to the car boot sale tomorrow with everything else. What do you think will sell better? Bundles or individual pieces, we have a lot! We are taking a clothes rail tho so that will help.
I have lots to sort out for it this morning as am working till 8 this evening. Also just realised I need to get some change from somewhere as well, not easy on a Saturday! It's not like me to be so unprepared.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
good luck with the boot sale. I have never sold baby clothes, but from when I have been a seller, the stalls around me seem to go so many for £1 etc0

I am trying to keep the stuff from NEXT separate as I would like to get more money for those items. Whenever we have done them in the past all children's stuff has sold really well.
CC bill has arrived and I wasn't sure of ourstanding amount as can't remember my log in details. Anyway, I'd budgeted £175 and it's only £94 so that's a bonus! Think I will pay the difference off the 0% card we bought the car on though although I am tempted to send it to the mortgage!
Up to £32.85 on Onepoll, think I should reach payout by the end of the month. Be even better if they add on my missing £2.50.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

My OH is doing his first Saturday on call today and was gone at 7.30am. He's also like yours in the fact that he doesn't have time for a lunch break and often comes home with his lunch. His hours are 37.5 but we both know that he's doing a lot more than that
Re: clothes. I haven't sold baby clothes before but if it's anything like our car boot it'll all eventually get mixed up and people pick out what they want - it's almost savage sometimes!0
