Well I was quite shocked to wake up to rain this morning. DH was relieved as he was expecting to cater for spectators of a triathlon so hoping to be quieter (unless they all take shelter in the restaurant). So, just me and DD at home today so think I'll try and do some surveys, need to pop out for shopping (milk, fruit and nappies as DD still not completely dry overnight - not sure why because she was and is no longer having bedtime milk?)

It's a shame about the weather as was looking forward to playing in the garden with DD. Maybe she can help me around the house instead as I need to sort out all her clothes so we can get nursery organised. She currently has a wardrobe in her room and clothes in the chest of drawers in the nursery. I'm sure at this stage of pregnany last time the nursery was completed. I'm a bit less organised and not that worried this time round if I'm honest, it'll get done and baby doesn't need own room for ages anyway.

Have noticed TCB are doing an offer for lovefilm. Don't think it's a free trial but 2 months for the price of one with £25.25 cashback and no minimum contract. Wonder if I can do it in DH's name? (i have already done the free trial and we have cancelled sky movies so could be worth it?)

Just been catching up on a few surveys although yougov has frozen part way through a 100 point survey  and trying to clear email inbox. Also need to pop into Boots as have had an email off them saying I have advantage points due to expire? Not sure what this means but if I have enough I may use them for DD's nappies if there are some on offer.

Any tips/advice on this, DH is getting extra 'bonuses' at work which results in about £50-70 take home money a month :) He manages his monthly allowance well and often uses it for groceries, although he hasn't this month and i know he has quite a bit left. I don't want this money for OP's (it's his and he deserves it) but don't want him to fritter it. I have offered to save it for him but he didn't completely agree although he has left the money on the mantlepiece! It's just that it could be around £500-600 a year which would be nice to use for a big treat/towards a holiday etc rather than just being wasted.

Grrrrr been to Mr A and Mr S and forgotten a padded envelope to post ebay listing which ends this evening. Returned some babygros I bought in 0-3, I have bought some bundles off ebay and have a feeling this baby won't be in 0-3 for very long!

Just spent £10 on nappies, I hope it's the last pack for DD, a pack of 42 so have 6 weeks for her to be dry in the night!

Ebay item sold for £8.50 so i'm pleased with that, it's a shame that's all I had listed. Buyer has paid but can't get it ready to post as nothing to wrap it in, will have to pop out tomoro. Am actually wondering if it would be better suited to a shoebox than wrapping (it's a children's nightlight so a bit bulky. That would also declutter a box! Got nothing to wrap the box in though - necessary to do so or not?

Have done the lovefilm trial through DH's TCB so hoping that tracks ok, have selected some good films to watch so hopefully it will be worthwhile and then I can OP the cashback. It's a shame I don't have a spare £65 to OP at the moment as that would get mortgage under £114k :D

I'm on a figure if £65 too to get another month off the term. Can't afford to a the mo.

Re the eBay parcel, I wouldn't wrap the box necessarily just make the label plain and maybe scribble over any branding on it. Don't give companies free advertising lol

I would wrap the box, if I got a parcel as just a shoe box I wouldnt be happy with that. Have you got any lining paper or anything like that? Or even a black bin bag to wrap it in tight? I have done that before!
I am the same, I have £77 to get me under £66k. I am tempted to do it from savings but I am waiting for TC to go in Thursday and I can do a bigger lump sum then. Am so impatient tho lol
I agree about DH bonus, he should put it aside for a holiday. Give him the responsibility to save for it lol

It's a shame when you're so close but at least it means you can probably knock 2 months off in quick succession. I am nearly under £114k but will be under £113k in 2 months. My aim is sub £110k end of this year and a big goal of sub £100k end of 2012 but that depends on interest rates/cost of new baby/income etc. If not I will get there a few months later. I just want a 5 figure mortgage :D

Pammy, we're all nearly at another milestone. We'll probably all be the same in a few months and wishing we could just OP that last little bit to reach a certain amount. It's drive like that which will ensure we're MF within our goals.

I sound so tight but I can't be bothered buying packing for one parcel as no plans to ebay for a while. I have found a good quality A4 brown envelope so have cut that so I can wrap the box! I have put some bubble wrap in box so just need to scrunch up some newspaper now.

Re: DH's extra cash he has just asked about getting petrol and I said I had cash to pay but he took it from his stash. I think I will replace the money he took and suggest we put it somewhere safe - out of sight out of mind. It's just too easy to take from it if it's there :)

Re the boots points. Are they from buying online and you haven't claimed them from the advantage card kiosk ? You only have a certain time to claim them..I'm thinking 6 months..that's all that I can think it'll be as they don't expire normally.

Edit - nothing on boots site but on searching someone on here said they you have to claim them within 12 months
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

Yes, I think that was it, thanks Iris. :) From what I could see it was from using their photobox service online. Not used it for ages though.

Ebay parcel ready to go, re-weighed it and have underestimated the postage but got a good price for it so not a big deal really.

Checked onepoll and am up to £31.50 so maybe payout by the end of the month? Have to keep on top of it as I have got a bit lax with surveys like many of us have. :)

Not much else planned but might try and make Froggy's quiche recipe as I did a big shop last week with the intention of cooking lots but the meals have lasted 2 nights so not getting through it all and refuse to throw food away. Doesn't help that I am working 3 lates this week so don't tend to eat properly when I get in at 8.30pm although i should as seem to have low blood sugars the following day when I do this :(

Had a fairly constructive morning, wish I wasn't working later though :(
Have joined a selling page on facebook and someone is requesting girls clothes in the sizes I have so can hopefully offload some of DD's old stuff. Yesterday I managed to move all DD's current clothes into her bedroom to free up the nursery for the baby's stuff. It's so much easier having her things in one place.

Have cooked Froggy's quiche recipe this morning and had some for an early lunch. It was delicious! :)

Got screened out of TCB survey so not too much money made this morning - whoops!
