Went to pick up the baby's clothes yesterday and they are great. I am not going to go mad buying though as my SIL has said she has a lot for me. Need to get the joiner here at some point to change the door so it opens outwards (hopefully making a 6x6ft box feel much bigger) and we can get it decorated and ready.

I think DH is getting more on board with the whole being MF dream, I just wish he wasn't so wasteful with money! DH has been paid today for a normal month and thankfully his wages aren't too far off what they were in his old job, i think the NI and tax changes are helping us!

I need lots of luck over the next few days - DD still a nightmare at bedtime, takes 90mins ish every night to settle her and then that's only for a few hours - tonight the tough love comes out. I'm hoping it takes no more than a week to work or it will be dreadful (good job we are detached or I would have to warn the neighbours of her crying!)

Right, i'm off to work out how much money we have left this month so I can send another OP! Payday and mortgage day are my favourite days!

Thanks Pammy. I am giving up BP as it keeps causing my computer to freeze so need to up the ante on the other money making sites!

We need all the luck we can get, DD is spoilt with love. There was a huge period of time when we used to take her in the car to get her to sleep - it has been a long 2.5 years of disturbed/no evenings!

Well this month I can afford to send a £200 OP, i was hoping for more but our normal payment is £690 anyway and this is the majority of one of our wages! I also have a CC bill to pay but I will see what money rolls in throughout the month and add that on.

Have been to a meeting at work and hopefully will have a better idea of where we stand re: jobs next month. I have decided against applying for any jobs as I would be 6/7 months pregnant by the time interviews would take place but my manager is going to see what she can do for me. That said, there is every chance I can remain in the area I am now so we will see what happens.

DD had a better night! After a bit of screaming she decided that having a DVD on would be a better option so asked for one. We put it on, left her door open (i think the closed door was her main issue) and she was asleep within 10 mins and slept till 1am so not bad at all! Also woke up with a dry nappy so good progress!

Have realised I can probably make an extra £50 OP on top of original calculations so OP this month is £250. I can't wait till mortgage has come down a lot so that these OP's have an even bigger impact.

Today I need to fill out tax credits form, reduce sky package to minimum and enquire whether as existing customers (who get zero perks from Sky) we would qualify for the £20 tv, broadband and phone rental package I have seen advertised.

Also need to have a good luck through the cupboards/freezer etc to see if I can avoid going food shopping for a week or so and just do top up shops.

Have just reduced sky package to lowest pack with one add on for DD. Payment will reduce from £52 to £21.50 :j

Who'd have thought watching the odd film and football match cost so much extra! DH is always working weekends anyway so although this is only meant to be temporary over the Summer maybe we could manage without long term! We will have a new baby disrupting our evenings after the Summer anyway! If it's anything like last time I will be rooted to the sofa feeding whilst DH waits on me!

Well I completely wasted loads of time sorting out clothes, taking photos and then listing them on ebay as it wouldn't let me list item in the way I wanted and it set the postage at a max of £4 when I needed £10! Anyway, I have put it on BIN but not expecting it to sell. I did list a couple of other items too but think that maybe we (i.e. DH) would be better off doing a car boot sale in a few weeks when he actually has a Sunday off. I have also listed a few items on a local group selling page on fb which is where I found my bargains recently. Someone has also requested a wii fit board and game which we have and don't use so I am selling that. That's £30 I can pay off mortgage on Monday. OP's are really coming together this month!

Have been unable to access some of my surveys today which has been a little annoying. Hoping i can get on them later and they are still available. Can't get on TCB at all either - no idea if there is something wrong with my laptop?

Thanks yukkibear, I managed to get on there eventually.

Received £10 Amazon code from mysurvey yesterday so have about £52 in my account now (I have bought a few things on there this year too). It's s shame i can't get BP to work properly as that added to it nicely.

Have been making meals from the freezer in an effort not to stave before we go shopping. Hoping a £10 top up shop will last us until Friday. Found a big frozen portion of a pasta bake though so that will feed me and DD for a few meals.

DD settled fairly well again last night, had a few hiccups but the end result was the same. Also woken up last 2 mornings with a dry nappy. She doesn't do things by halves, has to be all together!

I'm getting really spurred on with planned OP's for June, am up to £310 now if buyer comes to collect item I am selling on Monday (got someone else interested in a pushchair too) and it's so addictive to add to it now and reach the next milestone. That means we are paying £1000 in mortgage payments this month, that's almost 50% of our total income so not too bad!

    Quick question:

Am selling my wii fit board and game - never used (bought package off sister a while ago). Does it have a cable to connect the board to the console? I'm thinking not but need to know for sure as I am selling it tomoro!!

    Thanks x

It doesnt need a cable. It uses the sensor bar on the wii.
