I just fell asleep putting the kids to bed. 😳DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

My dh is desperate to do a big shop, but hasn't got there yet due to him being too busy, or to me having the car for work. But tomorrow may be his big chance. He's rather excited!!

I am so relieved he seems to enjoy shopping, it really inconveniences me now if I have to go!Productive 'day off' but I haven't stopped. Had a must-do list which included- Deep clean shower room
- Finish wrapping presents
- Hoover whole house
- Ring hospital
- Payday money shuffle
- Watch ds online Christmas play
Really pleased I've powered through that list and managed to reclaim the dining room. One of our breakfast bar stools has broken so it has made mealtimes more difficult! Am now on the hunt for some second hand ones being sold at a reasonable price.£26.02 sent to mortgage from rounding account down, have been a bit more generous with leaving the current account topped up since it's the week before Christmas. (quietly hoping for another OP to be made though!) £170 sent to stoozing card and have a mini target in mind I'd like to get it down to. No firm financial plans made yet, likely to do it in the lull between Christmas and New Year when no one knows what day it is!That's my update for now, off to walk the dog once dh home from work and I'm hoping to dodge the rain, although Christmas lights do make the evening walk much more enjoyable.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!5 - Deep clean shower room

The dog walk sounds nice, especially looking at the Christmas lights - I did a bit of that yesterday looking for the Grand Conjunction, it was lovely.2023: the year I get to buy a car4

Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!1 -
Yes it's definitely easier once the Christmas spending has stopped!!
Felt quite strange last night due to new announcement, we are in tier 4 but didn't expect it until after Christmas. Feel sad we've had to cancel our plans we had made for tomorrow but those are the rules. Felt distracted last night and didn't log into a social zoom but a Christmas film provided some much needed distraction. Am going to fill today with more low key Christmas plans whilst remembering not to put too much pressure on myself.Nothing to report financially, payday next week, most Christmas spends done apart from the food shop. We may get a takeaway to support a local restaurant this week too.May be back later with something more constructive to say!December spendsSupermarket £212.50Fuel £68

I'm hoping for me + dd to 'meet up' with a friend and her dd, by us calling on them and all going out to the park. We'll walk and talk in pairs - together but separate. They are being exta careful due to their family circumstances, but this keeps us within the rules but helping their MH too.
