Thanks everyone, we are pleased with it. The weather was so dull last evening the solar lights came on really early too which was good considering I went to bed before it got dark! Monday completely wiped me out this week! However, I've had a good nights sleep and feeling much better.Think we will just be plodding through this week although I did make a £5 overpayment yesterday which was account reward money. Just need to keep an eye out on the account charge debit going out!Supermarket spends looking good for this stage of the month and shouldn't need a top up until the end of the week.July spends

Not too impressed with this gloomy weather and it's doing nothing for my energy levels. Looks like the heatwave isn't going to be quite as good as expected but an ever hopeful for some warm sunshine!
£3.09 overpaid today which was from a refunded item and top up shop of £15.30. Not a lot happening but keep moving forward on this mortgage free journey.

Absolutely Debtfree, just overpaid another £5 and knocked a month off! Have gone through some mortgage projections with dh this morning and it's looking good. Should be able to knock a few years off mortgage 2 when we get a new deal next August and can continue to overpay to get it paid off even faster. For mortgage 1 which has a fixed rate running until 2024, we will only need one more fixed rate deal to see it through to the end. A 3 year fix would be a bit tight but 5 years slightly longer than we need. I predict a challenge coming there!Have been productive so far today so planning to sit and read for a while. Dog had a good walk this morning, I've pottered in the garden and found some lovely plants have self-seeded along the sleepers by the patio so hoping for some surprise colour there. I've emptied a couple of planters past their best and moved some garden lights from the back of the house to the front. It's wet and dreary here so that's about it for the garden although the lawn does need mowing yet again!Right, off to light a candle, make a coffee, grab a blanket and settle with a book. Hoping to catch up with all your diaries too.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!6

We had a better day of sunshine today, not enough to top up the tan but nice to sit out in for a bit. Took the dog for a longish walk this morning then thought I'd get rid of some of the weeds on the drive which turned into a bigger gardening session than I thought. However it looks so much better! Sat out and read for a bit and generally enjoyed my day off.Have felt shattered this weekend, early nights and lay ins so hoping I've recharged the old batteries enough. I'm taking regular multivitamins but think I need to up the water intake again as got a bit lax with this and it definitely affects me if I'm not drinking enough. Let's hope water is enough to bring my mojo back!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!7

Ooh, just £409 needed to get into 5 figures on that mortgage - how exciting!Water is very important, hope it does in fact restore your mojo.7
