Thanks both. We did eat into the clothes budget buying wine yesterday so our 'being good' didn't last long! Still a good amount to play with though and it's payday in a few days.
Puppy mostly brilliant smlsave but he isn't always brillant! This is usually when he tips his water bowl everywhere and escapes next door!
Top up shop yesterday of around £20 and we need to get some puppy bits and pieces. Dd also has a residential trip next week in Snowdonia. I think we have all the clothes/kit. She just wants a flask and some hot chocolate sachets so will pick them up later. Hoping I can get everything I need from H0me B@rgains.
20p Tilly tidy this morning. Once we've sent another overpayment on payday I'll be able to update the MfIT thread. 50p also requested from tcb.

Thank you mfd, she went on something similar last year and loved it. Aren't school trips expensive though!
High school application made yesterday and what will be will be. We are very limited in our area with schools we can actually apply for and don't have grammar schools. Fortunately our local comp which had been in special measures is now very much on the up and with the addition of a new head last year has become a very favourable option. The lack of schooling was why I was desperate to move years ago. Will wait and see what March brings now.
Quick check of the accounts with payday fast approaching has resulted in a £100 extra payment towards credit card which helps with holiday fund. Any funds left in that account on Tuesday will be Tilly tidied.
Washing drying, kitchen floor swept (due to puppy having fun shredding his puppy pad and tipping his water bowl everywhere!) Dh doing a good shop later so other than dog walks and packing for dd's trip we don't have much planned thankfully.
Have a restful Sunday everyone. Some of you may be on half term this week so enjoy if so.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
That's good news about your local comp. I found the decision / choice of secondary school much more stressful than the primary one!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

It definitely is Apple and we will just wait and see what March brings now.
Couple of food shops done so £18.76 to add to our running total. It's almost payday so after checking the account I've sent another £35 to the mortgage which means we've overpaid over £200 already this month.
Dh has done some online clothes shopping and we've some leftover so may treat ourselves at the weekend. Also bought dd some new socks today for her residential, I don't know what she does with them but she suddenly doesn't have many. I guess she does mostly live in football kits/socks though! Exciting news here as her team is playing a premiership girls team soon. Her face when we saw the fixture is one I won't forget.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Payday today and money shuffle done. Tilly tidies of 58p made up of rounding account down and 50p from tcb. Also sent an extra overpayment of £174.58 from wages. I'm really hoping once I log it on the spreadsheet to see at least one month (and much of the next one) knocked off!
Small food shop of £5.38 yesterday (co-0p deal and reduced whole meal rolls I'll use for lunches)
£78 leftover from food/fuel budget towards our clothes spends. I'd really like a new coat but don't think there's enough left in the budget. The one I watched on 3bay had a huge bidding war so I backed out nice and early!
We had puppy training class again last night which went really well and I'm so glad we booked onto them. They said, I'm looking forward to an evening of not needing to be anywhere tonight. Dd will be on her residential so I'm going to use the time to spend lots of one on one time with ds so will see what he wants to do.

NSD today.
Spreadsheet updated and we knocked another month off and £40 will knock yet another off. They are coming down fast. Have updated mfitT5 thread so hoping to still be on track there.

50p Tilly tidy today so judging closer to knocking off that month.
Popped to HB on way home and stocked up on dog food and bought necessary dishwasher tablets. Dh did a £15.08 foodshop so now we just need to NOT buy wine tomorrow!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
