thanks both, tbh she has been a lot better the last few nights. My mum had her overnight for us (won't be happening again i shouldn't think!) and she noticed all DD does all night is fidget and wakes herself up. She has been like that since she was a baby.

MF wise - still hunting for surveys! Have OP £250 this month and if i do this every month this year i can knock 8 months off mortgage so end date be April 2029, seems so far away yet i'll only be 46! Have decided that as I really want to get sub 110k this year and can do it by paying 250 each month whatever happens to interest rates I will just find the extra to keep me on track.

Think i need to do some shopping planning, have thrown food out and running low on baby wipes!

£5 amazon voucher arrived from BP so up to £10 in there and also used vouchers to buy Norton last week so that is proving to be worth my time!

Nice to see Onepoll busy with surveys again. Trying to go easy on the spends as don't get paid for 2 weeks. I really would like a glass or 2 of wine this evening but the scrooge in me is saying no! Am expecting DH to buy it anyway on way home from work so it's completely out of my hands!

Had a rubbish week work wise and worked 6 days and was ill last week so i am hoping i deserve it! Have got 'sherlock' on the sky+ and quite fancy a relaxing evening watching that.

Can't believe I haven't updated for almost a week! Hope everyone is well?

Yukkibear, are you managing to stay off the wine? I'm trying not to drink now in case I am pregnant, fingers crossed!! DD sleeping much better and sometimes after waking once in the evening stays in her own bed till 3am ish which is lovey. Also not really sleeping in the day and not waking till 8am (which is lovely for me but the days just fly!!)

Payday in a week, can't wait! Not so much so I can have money but so that I can sort out next months money. Accounts are running low but I am trying to avoid transferring from savings because I'll just have to transfer it back next week. Anyway, i think we should survive another 7 days! Am looking forward to the mortgage hitting the 116,000's with next months OP, just feels like it's coming down a bit quicker with my renewed new year effort.

Have kept up with surveys, one poll been pretty good and transferred some money from TCB into savings. There is an offer on one of the cashback sites for £50 cashback for opening an ISA - has anyone seen/applied for it?

Have finished work till Monday and it is a beautiful day! Might even take DD for a walk when she wakes up - it seems so long since we spent any nice time outdoors.

Have just done a GTM survey and need to check what else is available. Trying to get in the habit of checking them so i don't miss them.

Over the weekend i think i need to sit and meal plan and make a proper shopping list. Am missing really nice food as we are just eating what is in the freezer at the moment and haven't had a single evening together this week due to working hours.
Have a family day on Sunday so can't wait for that! Get paid next week too so can arrange next months OP. Am going to avoid sending it on normal mortgage payment day as it seems to confuse my SS and i don't know where I am!

Am really chuffed with interest rates being unchanged, gonna really attack the mortgage next few months. Do they review them quarterly? 3 months grace would be lovely!

  • Unfortunately for us they review it the first Thursday of the month usually. Every 3 months would be much better. ;)

Even more motivation though to do what we can while we can.

I guess i could test from thurs if i really can't wait!

Am meant to be giving blood on friday - can anyone see a problem with this?

Totally a non MFW update but that can wait for now!! :D
