Its definitely not right is it Cath. I hope the doctor can pinpoint it and get you back on track.
I sometimes feel faint when I get up in the morning standing in the shower. I go all hot and feel like I am being drained and that I am going to pass out sometimes. I then have to sit on the backdoor step to get some cold breeze and then sit at the table to do kids breakfast so I dont fall down! Its awful but only happens once or twice a month but its really weird. Kids are used to it now lol I'm alright after I have had brekkie.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Thanks Michelle for info.
Thanks, I felt a bit vague walking to my car from work but had some biscuits and then a meal. I suppose I am lucky that I am able to test it. I also think for me it is perhaps linked to hormones too as is worse at certain times. Michelle and Pammy, sorry you are both feeling something similar, not pleasant is it!
Cheers for the gas fire info, I can't wait to get some savings behind us and get going with the work! I absolutely refuse to get a loan so the dream home could be a little while off! Am hoping to do a few surveys today, seem to be a lot of GTM I haven't got around to doing, onepoll of course!
DD also has her 27 month check today and we are off to soft play this afternoon. Now I must not drive past any new build estates on the way home as this is where it all started last time!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Am trying to sort out our tax credits entitlements spurred on by DH unhappiness at work
and am wondering if it would be possible for him to reduce his hours and pay.
Am starting to think we have been underpaid but trying to work it out in way to explain to tax credits should I get through on the helpline.
I was overpaid last year through no fault of my own and am currently repaying that through reduced payments. Initially was trying to see if we were better off having childcare paid through tax credits rather than vouchers and it said we were. Then I tried to work out all our pension contributions for 09/10 but I can't find all the payslips but think this will increase our entitlement. Really need DD to nap so I can sort through everything in peace!!
How lovely would it be if we had been underpaid! It's just so confusing trying to work it all out!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
i'm a bit concerned about my payments next year due to a tiny 5% payrise and a bit of overtime I have done. Its a nightmare when they only review it in April for the previous year not the actual amount you are getting at this moment! daft really. I dont think that £25 a month would make a lot of difference though hopefully.
I just dont want them to overpay me.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Hope your tax credits will be ok. I had paid £1300 childcare october-march which I hadn't told them about so I am really hoping it makes a difference in my favour!
Can someone confirm what I am thinking for me please? I will try to explain it the way I am thinking it!!
Obviously I have been making overpayments. Based on todays figures and the months I have saved, reagrdless of interest rate rises provided I pay what they ask will I always have saved these months? Does that make sense?
If so I have saved 4 months already!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
My SS says that every £500 I OP saves me a month off the term but I imagine as the balance goes down the £500 will go down as well. So soon it will be every £400 will take a term off. This is my thinking but could be totally wrong
Do you mean that if you OP the same amount then you will save the same amount of months?MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

My monthly payment is 690.26 but come january when I have 19 years to go, my spreadsheet is only asking me to pay 679.79 but I have kept repayments the same so am technically OP 10.47 without actually OP. When i put these figures in it knocks 4 months off. I've never really thought about it in 'months saved' before, was just important to see the balance going down!
Someone told me years ago that if each year you OP by equivalent of one monthly payment you can knock 5 years off.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Was telling DH i think i've knocked 4 months off the mortgage already and he seemed impressed! He said if he gets his bonus from work I can have half for the mortgage - I like his thinking!
Was nice to have him home at 7:30 this evening, I have warned him not to work a minute over 48 hours!
Hid boss is trying to do him out of extra days off after christmas. As the mon and tues are bank hols and he hasn't already taken these as holidays he told his boss he would be entitled to them as extra days off or to have the 2 days hol at a later date. Boss disagrees completely and is trying to get out of it! I would feel so exploited if i was my DH.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
