Was up super early with DS, he is being super demanding and tying to be quite controlling at the moment! Headstrong kids who will go far but are hard work!

However, I have been productive. DH having a lay-in as he has worked 6 days the last 3 weeks and had roughly 5 hours sleep a night. Bank statements printed off for mortgage application, just DH to do which will do when he gets up. WM on and the sun is out.

    Today's plan.

    1. Go to EA. View final pics and sign!
    2. Return my mum's plants and baskets I borrowed for the photos. How very MSE!
    3. Source cheap plants of my own! :rotfl:
    4. Maybe go for a run
    5. Take children to a birthday party

Oops, meant to update food and petrol spends. We seem to be doing ok this month.

    Food - £218.28
    Petrol - £134.71

    total - £339.94

We budget £500 for this so this should knock the cc down a bit :j

  • You might find garden centres selling off bedding plants at knock-down prices.
  • Your house is looking great. Could they not have somehow took a pic of the small boxroom from a different angle?

Fingers crossed for a quick sale for you. :)

Thanks ND. Photos been a bit of an issue but should be rectified on Monday. I have asked myself why we want to move but the house just isn't right for us anymore.

I have been on fire today.

Survived morning tantrums, went for a 6 mile run (to escape!), signed on the dotted line for the house, mortgage paperwork signed - supporting documentation added in and ready to post! House also appeared on rightmove.

DH has treated us to a bottle of wine so having some rare Saturday drinking. Trying to watch tv but am distracted by a fantastic storm we are having!

We also seem to have loads of money left after payday and sending money where it needs to go.

I've also cleaned most of the house. Took no time at all considering it's already clean but the de-cluttering was key as I didn't need to tidy up first!

If you've been gone about a week that would explain it. It has all happened rather quickly and this week has been incredibly hectic. How we got everything done around both working fulltime I do not know!

I said to DH in jest last Friday evening after my daily check of rightm0ve

'I think I have found us a house, no - seriously!!'

Thank you SHS, I'll have a look. I sometimes buy 50p plants but don't quite manage to revive them! Meanwhile I haven't had chance to return DM's plants!

Absolutely. Nothing like a 'wanting things done yesterday' attitude to get things moving :D
