Hey Al, there's IO if you never want to pay it off!
We need to find you the other 8 episodes to go with those!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I felt sick to my stomach seeing a still of the first one where it seems she is giving her baby away. Oof.0

Bit of a spendy day yesterday, went to Mr S and spent £67 instead of keeping to £45 budget. We are well stocked up now though and £7 of this was on nappies as we are still working on night time dryness for DS but these will last a month. DH did a big cooking session whilst I took children to a party yesterday so that needs organising. Have also bought enough food for packed lunches too so that saves £10 which in theory could add to the food budget. It's things like that which don't appear in my SOA and then I wonder why I run out of money!!
Did check out the bargain holidays which run in a newspaper but it was pointless! No decent dates left so we will save up for passports instead. A bargainous CP weekend would be fab but I don't hold out much hope!!
Today's plan
[STRIKE]Mop all floors[/STRIKE]
DH ring pension provider if open
Do laundry AND put away!
Do homework with DD
Pay cc bill to cover extra spends
Remind DH to check my tyre pressureJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Planning lots of NSD this week. Paid a surplus few £'s off cc which leaves us with £10 cash until Friday. We don't need more than that so am not going to worry. If there is anything leftover I will add it to passport/holiday fund.
DH had to chase a pay query in work as his payrise % did not seem right. Had his payslip and he had it last week and new wage been updated. Not a fortune but it is extra in our pocket
Nothing planned for this evening apart from relaxation with my feet up, absolutely shattered!

Well, the list is going well. Just my tyre pressure to check. Bit annoyed over DH pension as forms were sent by current provider on 1st Dec and new provider have done nothing with them. We are just trying to get all of DH small pensions in one place and this is the last one to do. Fingers crossed it doesn't take another 6 weeks!
Just waiting for payday Friday now so can move some more funds. DH has bought bread and cream so dinner tonight will be another curry courtesy of rubber chicken!
Have been working further away from home the last two days so am more tired than usual and think the children have felt a bit rushed in the morning. Back to normal tomorrow so hopefully the morning routine will be a bit more relaxed although I could do with squeezing in some cleaning before work. Oh the exciting life of a working mum!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
What a long week this is. Can't wait for a [STRIKE]glass[/STRIKE] bottle of wine tomorrow! Had a bit of a scary drive home from work tonight due to the wind, took twice as long too. Payday for DH tomorrow, can't honestly remember if he did any overtime last week so hopefully have a pleasant surprise when I log in tomorrow morning.
Had some good work news this week which showed I had been worrying for nothing.
Another low food spend week planned, will have some freezer surprise meals as I am hopeless at labelling when batch cooking!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Its more fun to have a surprise when you have defrosted it!!!0

I 'think' there is only frozen turkey in gravy or a pork dish to choose from but I could be hugely wrong! Have done a shopping list which I have roughly estimated to be £25 - I wonder how well DH will do!?!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Very impressed with DH who spent £25.59 at Mr Ald1 including some extras. I had overestimated the costs of a few items which surprised me! Turkey from Christmas currently defrosting so that will be for dinner later. A careful meal plan may see us last with just a top up for fruit midweek. Haven't kept track of January spends but we have definitely spent less than £60 a week which is fantastic. :j
9p tilly tidy also made
Should have a £5 sale from fb page later today which will be added to holiday fund so that is increasing nicely and I did use some sale money to buy items needed for DS.
Other plans for today?
1. Maybe treat myself to some boots if have enough n3ctar points
2. Fill car up
3. Do something nice with the children - dd is on a mission to get a specific kinder egg! She has been promised a treat for being so good
4. Ask DH to put up shelves in ds bedroom and make sure I stay out of the way!
5. Return some items to N3xt, some unwanted sale items and a faulty item.
Right, better get a move on!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
I have just photographed some of dd3 toys to sell. Toying with fleabay or fb. Never tried on fb before though.
I never realized how much faffing online shopping could be, had to return double order from New look and then the same with body shop. Not quite sure what's going on...
