Boiler work will only take 2 days and can be started in 2 weeks! DH and I are quite excited about getting the ball rolling with the house. I just hope the kitchen quote isn't way over budget.

Advertised some items on a local selling page and they sold almost straight away so that's another £35 for the savings pot. Also sold pending payment some clothes elsewhere, will only make a few £'s but it's decluttering and money-making so I am happy :)

Was tempted to re-start GTM as it was reliable but I just don't have the spare time these days.

Just waiting on payday and TC day now so that the bank accounts look a bit healthier and I can transfer some to savings.

Kitchen designer has been and I can't wait to see the proposed designs, should have them early next week. I am optimistic that the quote won't be waaaay over budget. I'm thinking 6-8k is average for a kitchen with fitting? I could be completely wrong though.:o

Have another big 'to do' list and no idea how I am supposed to fit everything in! I will do my best though. :)

I have transferred £40 from sales to the house savings and am expecting another £10 tomorrow from selling something else. On my list is to sort out lots of toys which a lady really wants so I should get onto this. DS has also outgrown another size of clothes so have lots of them to sell as they are a particular, desirable brand.

Feeling rather fed up at work at the moment but don't have the energy to look for anywhere else. I suppose most of us feel like this at times :(.

Have a sleeping baby on my knee and diary out of reach so here is my rundown and 'to do' list. :)

Have sold some more old baby toys, a bundle I paid £60 for ages ago I sold for £85 and that wasn't quite the full bundle (kept some cars back for DS). Have transferred £95 to savings and have almost enough for the boiler. I can top this up on payday which is just before proposed installation.

We have unfortunately been victims of identity theft so there are a few things to sort out there. Everything taken out so far (that we know of) has been cancelled, banks informed. Just need to contact another company later as they wouldn't allow us to sort it in branch.

    To do list
    • sort out last provider re: identity theft :(
    • downgrade sky package
    • try and transfer DH's pension
    • wash, iron and post an item I have sold
    • bag up all of DS old clothes (I have given so many away I am wondering whether to sell by the kilo if I can find somewhere that does it)
    • book breakfast club for DD
    • respond to a friend's email
I think that's enough for now! I also need to work out the finances but that is an ongoing job and I might wait until I get the kitchen quote which is due this evening. If I don't report back I have gone into shock.

I have 11p left of food budget to last 14 days, any tips????? :rotfl:

Bit of a gap in posts and as I am just so busy. Still not getting much sleep and DS is only happy if being carried around which makes simple household tasks rather difficult!

A few more items sold and money transferred to savings. Should be getting money for another item later aswell. :)

Boiler being installed next week so I now have the mammoth task of clearing the understairs cupboard and the airing cupboard.

On a good news money front I am expecting some back pay this month as I have been a payrise behind for the last 18 months. I think I will keep this money to one side to pay for the extension plans as it's a large amount of money to find for what seems just a few drawings! It also means we can get quotes and focus on the next stage of creating our dream home :).

Our kitchen is being done next month and if you had asked me a couple of months ago I thought the work was years off being done due to funds but I have been money savvy and managed to find the money!

    Almost at payout on onepoll!!

Had a good day today in spite of having stuff going on. Have had some stresses at work which have disturbed my sleep but hopefully things are being resolved. Being stressed whilst at home is just too much. As a family we didn't do anything exciting today but I actually had a lovely day, was so nice to be together! DH worked a few hours OT this morning but after that the day was our own and we got lots done in the house as well as popping out with the children. Now they are asleep and I have a tidy house!

Managed to sell an item on ebay on a BIN which I will post in the morning. Was the first time I had listed like that so would be tempted to do the same in the future. That should be another £20 for the pot after fees!

Boiler being fitted this week, I just hope it is before the cold weather hits!

Really should take some time out now to do a new SOA, I need to factor in DD's school lunches as although not a fortune I am having to find £10 a week to pay for them and it's not budgeted for.

Ebay item sold plus another 2 items I managed to sell last night. Only small sales but it all adds up. Also sold a baby item today as well as giving a binbag of clothes away. House is looking fairly organised but it will be short lived due to all the work that will be going on!

Payday tomorrow, really hoping my backpay is sorted!

Backpay (around £800 pre-stopppages) arrived and was most welcome! That will be transferred across to savings. Boiler being installed tomorrow and some kitchen cupboards have been ripped out to make room. I am hoping to sell these locally for a small amount.

Haven't cancelled my boiler cover as yet. The new one comes with a 2 year guarantee so I suppose this is £18 a month I don't need to spend? Am almost at payout on Onepoll, just 75p needed which I will hopefully do over the next 2 days. Think I will leave this one alone then.
