£15 transferred to renovation savings as used reward card points to buy top up shop and a gift. I could do with more days like this!

Haven't had the most constructive day, spent most of it feeding baby - I now feel drained and exhausted.

On a brighter note, have sold £30 worth of stuff out of playroom and possibly lost a few lbs thanks to my hungry baby! :)

Not getting through 'to do' list very quickly. I daren't add anymore to it! Food shop done and vouchers used so £40 transferred to savings, used a £5 off voucher too! :) Am expecting some more vouchers in the post so hoping they arrive before our next big shop.

Few surveys done, tbh I have joined so many sites lately I am struggling to keep up.

Want to spend some time tomorrow decluttering and finding things to sell. It's easier to do this on DH's days off. It's very nice having him around at the weekends. :)

DD's tantrums have returned! She has dropped her 1-2 hour daytime nap and instead has a meltdown around 5pm! I'm looking forward to a hot bath and a glass of wine later (to toast my new job!) but I'm not convinced I'll get either as the children tend to have other ideas!

  • Hope you get your rest tonight, take it easy and enjoy the little ones.

They were Mr S points, EG. We accrued them quickly due to having double points from having a Mr S financial product.

Good day today, tiny amount of decluttering done. Yummy roast chicken dinner made by DH and we'll make a curry from unused chicken. Another item sold so will update sig once payment received. Posted FD account application yesterday so that's out of the way.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Hi Cath, you sounded tired in your post yesterday, but sounds like you've had a better day today. Nothing like some decluttering to lift your spirits is there?
I feel like I have been cleaning, tidying and putting away for the last 3 days solid, then I looked around the place this afternoon and wonder did I dream it! Nevermind, tomorrow is another day.

Hope DD is behaving herself, take care :)

Hi Macgirl, I know what you mean about the tidying up, it's neverending! Playroom is looking slightly better though.

Had some more M&S vouchers through the post yesterday so once I spend those I will OP the equivalent from food account. We are also really feeling the benefit of DH working closer to home. I don't think we've spent anything on petrol for 3 weeks! Accounts are looking fairly healthy for this stage of the month.
I am also impressed at how well we are surviving on my maternity pay and are still able to OP.
