Welll.... second time posting in a fortnight. I'm sure I should be here more often and will be now that September is here. The Pooter and internet are my best friends in winter when i can't be bothered with 'real' people and social interaction because of the SAD.

In the meantime, I have a month to six weeks to get lots done. Even though I've not been posting I've got some things off the list, but need tobe here for the prompts to keep me on the straight and narrow re meal planning etc etc.

I've defrosted the freezer. Woopwoop! Tax return done and I only owed £129. That feels good that I haven't left it till the last minute.

Trying to get my beauty/massage/sewing enterprises going as it seems likely that day job of 6 hrs per week is going to be going t*ts up. So I have addressed 20 envelopes for folks that haven't ever had a copy of my leaflet. Will do a personal note in each one along with a leaflet.

Big sewing job of 17 dresses has been completed. Busy doing some other bits and pieces.

So not been totally idle. Must go and get on with my cleaning instead of mooching here! Tea is jacket potato tonight, so easily done. Just as well, as dd is baking for her little party here tomorrow night.

No news on my friend yet - I'm taking no news as good news. I've been out of sorts all day but ended up having a good day in the end.

Work kids went orienteering (and blackberrying picking - 2 ice cream tubs fulls!! :D) then we sat in the sun for a bit. After lunch we went to my old team's presentation, they finish tomorrow. It was lovely to hear them all speak about what they have gained from our course, I had a proud work mum moment :T :rotfl:. I said goodbye to them all cos I'm with my other team tomorrow so won't see them on their last day. The kid with a crush on me was quite devasted to say goodbye to me bless him! :o

    (((Tru)))) and enjoy River Cottage
topsy - recipe looks lovely, will try that one day :)
Congrats to both taplords!!! taplady you must be very proud of them both.

I'm off out for early dinner with the girls.

Lovely day, all the washing from yesterday is dry and put away. I have been fighting with a wall hanging this afternoon. I will be glad when its finished.

The guest room is all clean and nice, moved evrything and hoovered underneath, put the Ken Dodd down the side of the wardrobe and got rid of any spiders that were hiding away down there.......fresh towels......went into the sewing room and got diverted with the wall hanging........

OH has been in the veg garden all day, we have some sweetcorn in there but I don't think they are going to be any good. They do not seem to be ripening. They have been bringing straw in all day......a lot more to go though.

HM fish and chips for supper, lemon cheesecake for dessert....a large glass of vino for me.....

    Hey my lovlies :D

Busy day - DS went to school for a reception visit and I didn't realise I had to stay. Still mindee and DD enjoyed it and mindee got to see her nursery teacher again :)
A big step was we managed to get DS into his uniform :T:T:T
We put it on him first thing and he stripped off again when H left for work. I managed to get it on him before our visit so I was well chuffed :D The minute we got in he stripped off again and has been running round the garden starkers for most of the afternoon (it's been hot hot hot here :D) Tomorrow he goes for half a day including lunch so hopefully things will go smoothly - cross your fingers ;)

Not much OS, made some twinks this morning and hung a load of washing. Got mindees tomorrow again so not much OS going on again :o

Tea? Goodness knows. Threw a strop last night as I cooked pasta and kids wouldn't eat it and then H was complaining about something to do with it. Was royally p!ssed off with them all. Might as well cook just for me and stuff the lot of them. Actually a friend has cooked an apple crumble for me and H should be bringing it home with him. Hmmmmm custard and crumble sounds like a tasty dinner to me :D

Freyaluck - Good luck with your interview, hope it went well

Tru - I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Big hugs for you xxx

Rosyred - I only ever use Sainsbugs Basics Chocolate - I am very partial to their Milk choccie to eat :D

    Kezlou - Hugs xx

Topsy - Like your wedding pic :D If you have an account with Flickr or some other internet photo thingy you can then either set up a link to that page or do what I do and copy and paste it to your reply - that way you can show bigger pics.

Falady - Labour vibes for you ;)

Taplady - well done to the Taplords :T:T:T

JackieG - Sorry to hear about the tax bill. I hope they have got their calculations wrong xx

NPM - OMG I LOVE your shoes! They are beautiful. As for the underwear - definately save it for the weekend away. Me and H were to tired on our wedding night for any marital unpleasantness so it was all a bit of a waste of effort :o:o:o

    Edited to add:

Flutterby - sorry I neglected to mention your friend. I hope you have some good news soon xxxx Positive vibes for your friend.

OK off to scour the net for ideas for DD for Christmas. I just don't know what to get her :o

Been to Harvester for dinner with the girls which was nice. And am just chatting to a dear friend in the US at moment.

It's been absolutely boiling here too, and there is a fabulous sunset at moment.

Like the pics NPM, especially Noah in his ear phones :D
Not sure where you've ordered your shapeware from but I've always found Maidenform to be good and a reasonable price.
