Thanks Ruby Pudding and MimiF
Son appears to be OK but I'm not! He says I'm too protective (at collecting him from school), but I said I was just being a caring, and worried mum! The police think it's just a one-off and that son was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but only time will tell. I'm sure through time, I'll be happy at him coming home alone, but for now, he'll have to put up with me collecting him to put my own mind at rest.TTFN :wave:0 -
 Geordielass, that's awful for him, you say middle school, doesn't that mean he's only 9/10 ? My ds1 has just started secondary school and he's 2 years older, I would be absolutely fuming if such a thing happened to him.0

Hello to all *waves*
Place is still in a right state, dust everywhere waargh (it's coming off the walls as we sand them, I'm not normally that bad!)
Had remains of yesterday's fish pie for lunch, it was delish (compiled it through looking at various recipes on OS so thanks).
Got my dried beans soaking so I can attempt Gingham's 3 bean chilli later though boyf is pushing for fish and chips (he is fed up after decorating all day, but he did volunteer!) DW waiting to be emptied, WM waiting for its white load patiently but I still need to unload the airer from the last lot...aaargh am feeling overwhelmed can you tell!!
I am going to have some serious cleaning to do when this decorating is over, oh dear...!
Enjoy the rest of your Sundays all!0 -
Where has everyone been this afternoon ? Obviously you've got better things to do than me :rotfl:
Just put an apple and blackberry crumble in the oven and some spuds. Going to do some salmon fillets, cherry tomatoes and green beans on a tray altogether. Saw it in a Jamie Oliver book.
Been trying to get the pencil marks off ds2's shirts again:rolleyes: They won't budge
Have done the lunch boxes for tomorrow- I always do them the day before they're needed. No one's complained yet- they're in the fridge obviously0 -

Vastsarah, my brother and I agreed not to exchange presents between adults and children . I still feel the need to give something, so I make a big fruit cake that they can all enjoy. Maybe you could do something similar or a hamper of hm foodie treats.0

Hi Everyone,
My DS (3 yrs) has been a bit of a devil today (OH says he's been busy polishing his horns!). Will be glad when he gives up wingeing and hits the sack! Otherwise I've had a pretty good day. I've cooked a roast pork lunch and HM apple sponge, done 3 loads of washing, and bought somes Xmas gifts in town.
Sorry to hear what happened to your son, Geordielass. There are some braindead people around I'm afraid. Hope they get the same thing done to them some time! Hi to everyone else on line, hope you all have a good evening.
POwieA woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0
