Hiya :hello:
Clear head here tooMr TM is away with his cadets today so after a slow start and usual jobs like putting WM, DW etc on, I intend to take the boys to have a mooch around Toys R Us. (I need to know what they might like for Christmas so I can start to source it at best possible price, of course :rotfl:) They know they aren't going to get anything bought for them today anyway. I can have a quick look n some of the other shops when I'm there and I may let them into Wacky Warehouse for a play .... not decided yet. Will take them to see my mum too.
Last night's takeaway curry was carp!! Not only did it take nearly 2 hours to arrive!! (so I could have made mine) it was full of salt and you don't want to know about the food colourings  I've just thrown the menu away so he doesn't go there again
Need to clear out the fridge and decide what's for tea today and tomorrow - curry I think on account of the defrosted base sauce :rotfl:) Will do my sewing today - I WILL I WILL!!
Ok, ((hugs)) as needed and I'll catch up with you later.

Morning all,
I have been washing and sliting 5lb of damsons ready to make jam this morning - have never made it before I have only made marmalade and am having a competition with my sister to see who's tastes the best (my in-laws were kind enough to give me all the damsons that their tree was laden with). Need to go out and get some more sugar tho' as I don't have enough in.
Also going to make a banana loaf as I have 2 x bananas that are over-ripe and If I don't use them it will be such a waste - have to aslo get some more SR flour - I seem to have been using my store cupboard ingredients loads this week.
Am planning on making some leek and pototo soup later on, just need my chicken carcass to defrost so I can make the stock.
So a lovely day slaving over a hot stove for me by the sounds of things...nevermind, it is raining!
OH has just suggested we go out for brunch - mmm - not very OS but it doesn't happen often so I am not going to say no.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all,
Slow start to the day here. Still need to get showered and dressed but as usual distracted by MSE.:o
Had a great time at the circus yesterday. It is safe to say the kids loved it! As did I!!:p
Somehow the house is in a reasonable state this am
(I think it must be because we spent most of the day out yesterday.....if that is the case then we are going to be out all the time from now on!!)
So hopefully today i can sort the basket of paperwork, and get it orgainsed to deal with it during the week.
And todays major task is to sort the playroom. I cringe each time i walk past the door, it is soooo bad! To say it looks like a bombsite is just being polite! I really think they just have too many toys. must get rid of some more i think....
Food wise : Its lucky dip in the freezer, as i am trying to use up some of what is in it.
Right then, must move before I root, have a good day everyone.0 -

Morning everyone:hello:
OH has just taken ds2 and dd swimming, ds1 is watching Brainiac. I can hear Richard Hammond's voice coming from the telly, anyone know how he is now ?
My boys are getting a bit worried as all their favourite TV presenters seem to get into terrible accidents:shocked:
Kids have had Nutella on bread for breakfast as it's Sunday, I shall have oatcakes and an apple later.
Lunch will be a bean-tomato-squash-sweetcorn-carrot soup with hm bread and croutons too probably. Plums or apples for pud.
Supper will be salmon, baked spuds, tomatoes/green beans/broccoli
Blackberry and apple crumble and cream afterwards.
Ooh, there's a Morrisons ad on the telly now and I can hear Sean Bean -yum yum0 -

He seems to be improving and is now out of intensive care, amazing news considering what a state he was in a few days ago0
