18yo Desperately Seeking £1600 by Monday

why are people helping this person? If the case is genuine (perhaps it is a wind-up) a person has booked cosmetic surgery, thay can not pay for, and 5 days before the procedure asks the MSE forum to provide access to £1600. Why tell us it's for surgery? Why not say I need an urgent loan? Something is very wrong here (if genuine). Self esteem, body image , relationships, private non-NHS medical bills. Not what forums are for I fear.
This is whats starting to annoy me about these forums.. people like you! So everyone should just ignore the guy, because you have a slight feeling it's not 'genuine'. What is it with a few of you and trust issues.. too many of you think you're mystic meg. Get a grip, get off the higth horses, out of your own backsides and sort your paranoid trust issues out.0 -

I think I must be missing something (I often do) but in this thread where does the poster say he's a GUY?0 -
I'm presuming, my bad. Yet again, i'm guessing your now saying im somehow linked to the OP? Outrageous some people are..
Why don't you get admin to check the ip addresses of all the people you paranoid people seem to think something fishys going on? I run a forum myself and it aint hard.0 -

Can't understand why anyone would think so!

That's why i came in here in the first place, because the fee was similar to what i wanted when i posted that, and i wanted to see if anyone had helped him.. but you get people like you that act like the smart !!!! and big man over over the internet trying to be some sort of keyboard warrior and know it all. When its pretty obvious you have some sort of paranoya, and trust issues in your life, when you jump to the conclusions you do. (Not that i have to explain myself) But i don't know anyone, at all, on these forums. Like i said.. it aint hard to check people's ip's.0

Your posts are so similar to our friend from last year, it's uncanny.
I must fly now, I have to de-flea the cat. If others want to waste more time it's up to them but please read the full posts and follow the links before you do.0 -
To be honest i don't care.. i only ever first used this forum in the first place a month or so back when i first found myself in bother.. before that i'd never used it0

This is so wierd because about this time last year someone then aged 17 from memory (who was also really in to competitions -like you) kept posting under different names asking EXACTLY the same question, ie how do I get a loan for an operation, the amount varied from post to post.
I think they ended up asking about taking out a loan in their sisters name (not brother like you).
I think it might be really helpful to you (and everyone else) if we could find this thread from early September last year.
They posted as Tom, Liam and Cosmoo but MSE removed many of the posts (as the same person had multiple log-ins I guess).
Yeah, I do need to get back into competitions as I haven't done many for a while. I still have no 2010 wins
I will probably get back into it after I start uni. Thank you for mentioning the previous thread, I have had a read of it.

Yes, I am a genuine person with a very genuine case. When I booked my consultation, I was under the impression that I would be eligible for a First Medical Loan as they are mentioned on the website for helping people to pay for surgery. However, after phoning them I learnt that I must have a guarantor.
I don't think that there is anything wrong with providing a reason for requiring a loan.2008 Wins: The Shapes - Get Your Learn On (CD), Free transport to and from a Christmas Party2009 Wins: Years Supply of Orbit Complete (144 packets), £50 of Odeon vouchers
