Why don't we start using the new wording and see how things go

Just remember don't use the T word in more posts...................

    Right, how's this?

Please do let me know if you think there's something that should be said differently, or if I haven't been sensitive enough to the situation. I've tried as much as possible to ensure it's as friendly and welcoming as possible without scaring people straight off by telling them there are people around who aren't so nice!

I know I haven't put that full troll note in. I don't think it's appropriate for me to include that, especially as we have a Forum Rule all about it with what to do.

If you guys feel it still needs posting every now and then I don't think it's a problem.

    Andrea :)

PS. The overriding point I must emphasise, though, is please don't post on the forum accusing someone of being a troll. It causes the Forum Team more work. As I said in that post, just report and ignore.

    Good morning all.......just catching up!!

    How about this:-

Hi If, i think we need to do something to try a calm this all down before it really gets out of hand, if you are like me you a;; you want to do is offer help to others who are going through what I have already been through.

Why do we not just take Troll out of the picture and replace it with a number of personal attacks? If you are subject to one of these attacks please ignore it and report it as abuse.
If you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j

The whole idea of the troll thread was to warn people, something that we the BR posters set up. But as you have started the thread with your wording.......nothing more we can do is there???

Hi Now, because the reality is they have been troll attacks here sometimes for the whole weekend!!

Will everyone who objected to the Troll warning be around in six months a years time? Will all who objected be around most days and nights??

  • Hiya,

Believe me, I'd much rather someone else did it but no one volunteered or did it as far as I can see, and someone said it would be better coming from me so I did.

I've asked for opinions on the wording and what changes you'd make to it. So far no-one's given me changes.

What I'm doing is to try to bring back some harmony to this board - it's really focusing way too much on there being trolls and not on Bankruptcy help. Please can everyone start re-focusing their energies on that and not on this thread or me?

Now I really have to get on with some other work today.

    Thanks!

    Andrea :)

    Arghh Bless.

We all have real work to do, but are here none the less TO HELP PEOPLE.

This is the only reason people stay here.

I'm relativley new compared to the majority of excellent helper who have been forced away and this is effecting the advise and support given.

Honestly get over yourself and lets try and help people who need it.

    Thankyou.
