Morning Kittikins
Just caught up with your diary.
Sorry to hear that you were down on your aniversary, but time is a great healer and trust me, that particular date will come and go in the future and you won't give it another thought.;)
Anyway, I woke up this morning and Brrrr its freezing in Scotland. However, im determined to keep my heating off until next month (and I don't mean the end of the week!:rotfl:
Keep posting, I think you are an inspiration.0 -
I know, it's a bit silly, the wedding was 6 years ago!! Sometimes I think living in the same village and walking past where we had the reception etc makes it strange. I often forget all about it and just remember the date he walked out rather than the wedding date, but as the wedding was a Saturday, I think it stuck in my mind.
Poor you feeling cold, we did too and we're way down in the tropical South! I closed my bedroom window this morning as the whole house felt freezing! Dreading putting the heating on, but DD's got a cold so may crack soon.
One of my next targets is to save up for carpets upstairs, we have lovely floorboards, which are fine in my room but let air whistle through in hers....a rug isn't quite cutting it, poor scrap!0 -
Hello all. I've got 3 codes for a free Graze box if anyone would like to have one, I've got my first box today and yum yum yum is all I can say!!0

Hooray, just sold a book on Amazon
£13.81 to come in to the pot 0 -
Well done on the book

I've a pal who swears by the squirty expanding foam inbetween floor boards - might help plug the worst of the gaps? I use to paint mine liberally to seal them up and painted random fun things on them - cheered it up abit but we always had 'manky boards!' xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Oooh, I might have to look into the squirty stuff, thanks for the tip!0

Wow! Feeling all whizzy and full of beans after reading MemoryGirl's updates on her meeting with Mr Big and feeling very happy to be cheering her on from the sidelines and getting great positivity/help from the folks on there

Popped out at lunchtime and irritatingly had a 17p library fine as I didn't get off my lazy backside to take a book back yesterday, but got a reduced pizza and v. cheap fruit in L!dl which made me feel better about it
DD and I are going to start blitzing the upstairs after school today, hmmm....how to make tidying up her Polly pocket-infested bedroom fun?!?!!0 -
 Hi KK
Just checking in.
Now as well as the cold we have the dampness to contend with up here. Its been heaving it down all day!
Ive resisted putting my heating on yet though:T
Although I am using my tumble dryer to dry the washing:mad:
Keep up the good work on your diary.

Hmmm, payday today and I've had to steal a little bit from here, there and everywhere to pay all my credit cards (I like to pay throughout the month rather than wait til they're due, I'm less likely to think I'm *richer* than I am, lol), and have drawn up this month's budget.
Scary stuff. This month has ended up being a bit pants, I've not yet been charged for my GCSE course (£195) and will have to pay the childminder out of this month's pay rather than last (grr), so have £237.33 in there.0
