Aargh! Necessary investment and all that, but a right pain .... hope all is well otherwise.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Oh that is all you need. It is a pity the alternator in inlaws car doesnt fit. Can you use some of the money you get for the bits off that or is it your inlaws profits? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. It's on going on in your world isn't it Pippa! Wretched cars - they're a pain, mine being newish has thankfully just gone through its MoT without a problem but OH's will be due in March and I'm not looking forward to that, I hate MoT'ing cars at the best of times! Good to have had the alternator done though as the last thing you need in potentially dodgy weather conditions at this time of year is to find yourselves stranded somewhere with a non-starter. At least there is peace of mind (if not of pocket!) in having it sorted now.

Its not comfortable, is it, to be in that situation at this time of year especially. I hope that work goes well - have you got any vitamins or supplements in the house to ward off those sniffles?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
Echinacea Pippajo that is what you need to ward off the sniffles. Oh and Manuka Honey - a spoonful per day. Glad the car is sold. I am now on the hunt for a car. Doubt it will be my longed for landrover but right now I just need a car. Probably have to wait til the new year.
Good luck with the funding hope it comes through this month. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
