Yep, the self employed don't really get bonuses in the same way! Thats a lot of decorating too, to be doing at this time of year! And I really hate the smell of gloss drying, it makes me feel really sick - I'm going to try to do the skirting board in the office between the time when the plumber's been and the floor layer comes - dreading it!
But I hope yours goes really well today.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Where your OH works doesn't sound good at all - I'm glad you're getting other things on the go.
What are the challenges? I have some long term challenges to myself, if they fit, it would be great!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Absolutely - these things hurt.
I'll keep an eye out for the challenges - and I hope you and OH have a good evening.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday Pippa - I can't believe how mean your OH's company were - if the other SE person hadn't got anything either it would have been fair enough, but that is bordering on victimisation!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hope you had a good Christmas Pippa. Sorry to hear that your OH is not being valued by his boss and I hope that things improve for him. I am intrigued by your challenges so will keep an eye out for them. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I'm not having proper meals today either - snacking on crisps and hummus, its not too bad, but I shouldn't even be doing that really - must start with all the supplements again tomorrow, at least.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hey Pippa, Happy New Year. What a fab post - very focused indeed. I wish you well in your quest to increase the family. Sounds to me like you are being very positive and looking forward to the year. I look forward to hearing about your progress on all of this. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar.
