Well it's clearly a ploy to encourage us to go see it with our pet men, but surprisingly not shown in too many of the adverts I've seen so needs mentioning - amusingly Mr S came away upset that Olivia Wilde is fully clothed throughout.

Cash generating feels like it's slowed right down, although I keep getting money deposited in to my bank account by mystery shopping companies so I must still be doing something!

Mucked up my planning for a mystery shop - I could have sworn it was only to be completed during the week, rather than any day except a Monday, so need to making a muchly apologetic phone call to the m.s company tomorrow morning as I can't get hold of them now (going straight to voice mail).

Went for a wander around Lidl and came home with £22 of food for this weekend- I'd forgotten how expensive quorn can be, and its the only thing my sister will eat so needed to be bought or starve her(the preferable option but likely to result in earache).

Had another go at making flapjack, didn't use the plain recipe but tried one which uses some lemon curd as I got a short dated jar from work before we closed the shop. Worked quite well, bit too soft still when I look it out of the oven and turned it out but I think that's because I managed to put twice as much curd in as the recipe required thanks to Mr S being annoying and distracting me. But after being in the fridge over night it's firmed up quite alot and is very sticky but not too strongly flavoured. Slices fairly well too which is good. :D

Spent some of last night rewriting my CV again and sent it off to a handful of agencies with a speculative cover letter, seen a few jobs I want to apply for so am planning to spend tomorrow night tailoring the CV and cover letters for each one.

edig rejected me last year :( Keep meaning to try signing up again now I've both moved and changed my phone number but not got around to it yet.

Not got round to doing the microwave either, but then I really don't *do* housework so it'll be a while before I can face doing it!

Applied for a couple of jobs this evening, but forget how time consuming and utterly utterly soul destroying it can be to apply when you probably won't even get a 'thanks but no thanks' email. :/

Not likely to be online much this weekend, I've got my dad visiting from the north, but I've now finished work until after my holiday so am 'allowed' to relax - no ms booked with the exception of one at the airport on the way out and will hopefully spend the week before we fly sorting out the piles of accumulated 'stuff' which are lying around the flat and we never manage to be home for long enough at the same time to sort out.

Spent most of today out and about with the dog, and assorted humans, I remember why I prefer the company of the hound!
Little bit shocked at how old he seems, slow moving, sleeping alot more than I remember etc even compared to last year when I moved away.

Finally bitten the bullet and checked my credit card, my 'few small' spends has totalled almost £200 in the last couple of weeks, but £50 was fuel, £50 on clothes for the holiday and food for this week, £60 on mystery shops I need to pay back, the rest is odd bits like lunch for the four of us after I finished work.

Still need to sort out currency for the holiday too have about 180 euro in assorted notes and coins so planning to buy another £150 of currency so I know I have plenty as I plan to do a couple of days diving if the petboy doesn't mind me disappearing for a couple of evenings to do some night dives.
