Home from another joyous day at work with my payslip in my sweaty little claw - the numbers look good, but will look so much better in the bank!

Think the overtime money I'll keep hold of this time and use it for currency for the holiday as the flights have been paid in full by using some of the savings and my ms float money.

Just picked up some more overtime at work this weekend, not looking forward to it much as it's gonna mean a very very long day...but does mean that when I get home from my hols I'll actually have some money (pay day is the day we fly so by the time it's transferred in to my spends account we'll be away with no access to it).

Urgh got home from the evil long shift last night to discover that one of my rear tyres is completely flat. So thats a good chunk of what was going to be turned in to euros magically turning in to a tyre instead, meh. Forgot to check what the tyre sizes are before I can home tonight, so I can't even price it up but I suspect for a tyre to match the ones already on it'll be about £80 as they're the ones on it when I got her, and I really don't much feel like buying 4 new tyres this month.

New tyre paid for and booking made to get it replaced, as predicted cost just short of £70 and the only company locally who have the same brand in stock are the ones who don't appear on the cash back websites :(

On the upside I used yet more of my survey vouchers to buy a portable compressor to temporarily inflate the tyres, mr s used to have one but binned it so at least we have one between us now. Need to package up and send an ebay parcel and while I'm in town need to pop in to the Body Shop to pick up the freebie body butter I got a voucher for from an abandoned Telegraph on sunday as well as this weeks Times book from Waterstones.

Freebie body butter purchased and lobbed in to my so far otherwise empty suitcase, I reckon the 50ml tub should be enough to last for 10 days on holiday alongside my aftersun (hate the smell of aftersun so always use a nice smelling moisturiser just before I go to bed at night). Just need to get some sun cream as my last bottle of P20 is now almost 2 years old and has been used on two holidays so doubt there's much left. Had a look in boots and their own version is on offer at £14 at the moment and is a higher factor, so will prob get that and a lower factor in a small bottle for wandering around with, as well as a good facial one as that one was binned before I came home last year.

Should really start looking at currency prices too, get that ordered soon so I know how much money I can play with this month on assorted holiday luxuries - like new summer clothes!

Thanks ladies will have to have a look next day off I get.

Don't feel like I've achieved much today other than getting annoyed by my colleague at work. Need to get back to the job hunting thing really, been in this job coming up on a year which is quite scary.

Day off tomorrow, and off to a birthday party so need to go pick up some bbq food, an extra bottle of wine and a card tomorrow morning. Then the deep deep joy of an hour on assorted trains for short periods of time (three changes, journeys on each of no more than 15 mins). Before that though I have to get my lazy backside out of bed and shave my legs, have got fed up of the constant plucked chicken look from using the epilator and as I'm intending to wear shorts I need to not be wandering around looking like a female yeti!

Am hoping that while I'm out the beloved one will go food shopping....I just went to the cupboard intending to get something to eat and found 12x large galaxy bars, 6x angel delight packets and some instant mash. Not quite what I was after it has to be said!
