Well todays shift was stunningly pointless, three staff and in the 6 hours I was there less than 100 customers! Annoyingly I couldn't even send one of the others home as they live next door to one another and car share, so the one not driving would have had no way to get home.
Roll on Tuesday, when I at least get to go diving (all being well with my kit...) before yet more over time in the evening. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Ebay free listings this weekend, couldnt sleep last night so listed one of the spare ikea wine racks, but then rapidly lost interest and motivation for listing the other stuff lying around the flat I intend to get shot of. Although most of it is easier as a 99p listing so I can do it anytime I can get the motivation up for it.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Feeling slightly weak, just booked flights to take the pet boy out to the apartment for 10 days cheapest flights were £400 after adding luggage - although I could fly with hand luggage only as I have clothes out there I want to refresh my wardrobe as last year I binned alot of clothes which were looking tatty.
As that purchase will push the cc to close to its limit I've transferred the bulk of my ms float money to cover it and will replace it when I juggle the rest of the money I have saved and the over time pennies to cover the complete flight costs.
Next job is to book a camp site pitch for August BH weekend at the same site as some of our friends are staying at. And then I really should book the time off work too! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Time off work requested and approved within 45 seconds of arriving this afternoon - at times I really do love my boss!
Going diving tomorrow so currently sat in my pj's with my dive kit strewn around the living room floor, it stinks from being packed up for nearly 12 months, but just looking at it is making me smile. Am about to see if I can get in to my dry suit....not worn it for a while but my weight has fluctuated quite a bit since and I'm not sure if I'm bigger or smaller than last time I wore it.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Diving again was fab..less said about my own skills the better! But I was just rusty the second dive was hugely better than the first although I still wasn't too impressed with myself but still I got under water for the first time in nearly 12 months. And it might have been mucky (visibility was awful) and !!!!!! all to see even if the vis was better. But it was diving, and a chance to meet another displaced northerner who was my buddy/guide/carer for the day.
Course going to work afterwards sucked majorly, I'd forgotten just how exhausted I get after a dive and was struggling to keep awake by the end of the shift. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

My old credit card company are very generously increasing my credit limit....by doubling it, on the same date as they're increasing my interest rate by 3%, not much of a cynical ploy to make even more money out of me then!
Still as long as I keep the card ticking over the credit limit will be useful if we decide to move again next year. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You can always close the account and reject the rate limit. Can you get the barclays 24 month 0% card?

Not sure but I'll look in to it next time I need to bt for now though I've already done a balance transfer and I'm only using the older card for my mystery shopping to keep it ticking over as its a cashback card. The 'debt' is now on a credit card with my bank so it's easier to see the total I owe, feel guilty and make a small extra payment more often!
Hence thinking I'll just keeping it running for just in case we do decide to move from the flat in to a house when our lease runs out, recently we've realised just how much we both miss having a dog around the place (not sure how he misses it since his family never had dogs but I guess cats are similar) and the managing co for the block don't allow any pets at all so we can't even get rats/degus as he was planning to earlier in the year.
I suspect having some kind of a pet around would be good for his depression - the difference in him even when his boss has the dog in work compared to days when he leaves the dog at home is quite huge - and would def make me happy as other than when I was at uni I've always had a dog around the house and I really do miss it at the moment. Plus a dog isn't going to be moody, hard work, and will love me just for feeding it
Must remember to write up a mystery shop tomorrow morning, meant to do it this evening but got distracted by studying (which is quite weird for me with over a week before its due). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I too miss my cats. Had to leave them in the UK, as they were too old to travel. One has since gone to the rainbow bridge too. In fact when I am looking at new rentals I am specifically looking for ones that allow pets, as my DS1 is desparate to have one

That was the plan this time but with everything else going on at the time we were looking we decided that we'd rather make pets a like to have aspect rather than an essential, next time it will be essential. Course the other option would be to get married and move in the SFA/MQ where we would have significantly cheaper rent and be able to have pets - but that would mean getting married and neither of us are that bothered about doing something that daft. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
