Spent a fairly nice day with most of my family - Dad drove down with some things for my sister who recently moved to around 20 miles from the boy and I, so he took us over to see her flat and then out for lunch before dropping us off at the train station to get ourselves home while he drives back north.

Currently browsing halfords for bike locks, covers a new lights for my mountain bike as Dad dropped it off earlier.

    Too damn warm!

Bought lights, locks and an anchor point for the bikes, just need to find a drill to get that attached to a spare bit of wall in the carport.

Booked a couple of mystery shops for tomorrow, and a couple more for the weekend and next Tuesday, as well as planning to start my latest fitness 'plan' in the morning (too warm the rest of the day and I figure I go for a run before I go do this weeks weigh in it can't hurt).

Too warm or too rainy to even think about going out for a run today, so sacked that plan off in favour of a fast walk in the coolest clothes I have that still fit to weigh myself - and still got to the shopping centre drenched in sweat - before also sacking off the mystery shops as the last thing I wanted to face was a pair of junk food meals (naturally would have only eaten one but even thats far too unhealthy).

Spent most of the afternoon sat in my undies in the livingroom with all the curtains firmly closed and windows wide open while I've studied and generally mooched around online.

Little bit horrified by the insurance renewal notice my Dad forwarded - aside from the fact I've forgotten to get the address changed - they want £615 for the year, a fresh quote, at that address adding the pet boy would only be £450....

Doing a quote at the correct address it drops again to a 'mere' £330 - inc protected no claims and additional pet boy driver.

Need to double check how long he's had a driving licence but I'm pretty sure its over three years and as he tells me regularly he's had no car accidents unlike me (although it's been nearly 5 years since my last claim).

So £330, inc protected no claims and petboy driver to beat on the comparison sites. :D

Looks like I need to reschedule pretty much all the mystery shops I have booked for this week, thanks to being asked to do two extra shifts, one an am shift which will be painful as it means working 7am to 3.30pm.......the other is an evening shift 5.30pm to 11.30pm - equally painful in its own way (ie I'll be sober and everyone else won't be). Still I'll be repeating the usual mantra of 'think of the money' throughout both shifts.

Finally got my payslip for this month, still being paid emergency tax....one day I'll get around to actually sorting that out, and should have around £100 extra thanks to my over time, will naturally use that to pay off part of the OU payment.

Bit late but.... if you order the Tesco vouchers but don't use them you can return them to Mr T and have them recredited to your clubcard account whereupon they're miraculously redated for another two years.

    Using Clubcard rewards tokens

How long are Clubcard rewards tokens valid for?Rewards tokens are valid for 6 months unless otherwise stated.
Can my Clubcard rewards tokens be refunded?Unused and in date rewards tokens can be returned to us for a Clubcard Points refund.
Please return to the following address:
    Tesco Freetime Limited
    PO Box 654
    Crawley
    RH10 1RG
Do I need to state when I want to use my rewards tokens? No - you can use them whenever you like as long as they are valid. When I order, do I put in the voucher value I am exchanging or the token value I require? At the basket you will be told both the cost in Clubcard vouchers and the value of the rewards tokens you will receive. At the checkout you will be told the cost in Clubcard vouchers of your rewards and you will need to add enough Clubcard vouchers to your order to cover this cost in Clubcard vouchers.

Have to admit I'd forgotten about being able to do that! But as these were ones I got changed just before they altered the redemption rate I wanted to make sure I got them used, only a couple more courses to do then I'll need to pay for them in full which I'm not looking forward to at all!

Its the day before payday and I have a grand total of £20 left in the bank.....unusual, but pleasing!

My MS float account has about £150 in it once I've taken out the alloted proportion towards the tax so I'll probably throw some of that at the credit card over the weekend.

Can't sleep as per, was knackered last night though and was passed out and snoring before midnight according to the petboy so am probably equilsing my usual sleep hours tonight which is a !!!!!!.

Contemplating dropping two of the mystery shops I have booked in for tomorrow, not sure I can face almost 2 hours on the train to come out with less than £5 profit before tax, on the other hand while it might only be £5 its still £5 less to find to pay off later....but I will still do the two in my local town as a quickish enquiry at a phone shop followed by a meal out we'd not normally be able to justify the cost of is deserved since I'm working on what is normally our night in snuggling on the sofa with a crap film.

Still no sign of the OU payment on my credit card which is slightly worrying now, I've started doubting if I did actually post the letter, I'm sure I did as it's nowhere to be seen in the flat, my handbags or the mappocket of my waterproof which is the usual hiding place of things I plan to send and don't get around to.

In mildly happier news I've taken to jogging home from work, made it in a little over 15 mins the other night, which its fair to say I am chuffed by as I was wearing work clothes, work shoes and carrying my daysack which has some fairly heavy books in it, legs are suffering today though.

Home from my shift, and picked up another one same time next week, drove in this evening as I really really couldn't face walking after the meal, was absolutely stuffed and paid a grand total of 75p for it of my own money.

Didn't go to do the two shops via train either, was far too muggy and yucky a day to spend the time on the train, so need to check if I can reschedule them for next week or possibly even tomorrow if I feel like it when I emerge from my pit in the morning.

I have just read the rest of your diary since I last posted (sorry for the absence). Wow alot of things seem to be going on for you. I notice that you seem to buy alot of your furniture. Have you thought about looking for things on freecycle/freegle or gumtree? You can get free furniture there.

I am also assuming that for these purchases your OH is paying you back half as he uses it:D?
