Having a lazy one today, wandered in to town and paid a few bags of change in to the bank in hopes of being able to get some more of my credit card paid off. I've also put myself on the weighing machine and have managed to lose a little bit more weight which has motivated me to go out for another run this afternoon when it's cooled off a little.

Should have been out MS'ing today but overslept -had to get the train at a very specific time to fit it all in but managed to leave the flat and get to the level crossing as it pulled away, only brightside being that I hadn't paid for a ticket yet!

Booked some more work for next week though as a few jobs came up with bonus payments which made it worth rearranging the work I originally had booked for that day, plus have been asked to cover a 5 hour shift at work.

Also got most of the paper work I need to go and try to claim a tax rebate for 10/11 year, just need to contact the short term employer again about getting a P45 or P60, then write to the tax office to ask why I'm still on emergency tax despite it being the new financial year - I suspect it'll be something to do with the parttime work I'm still waiting to be told I've officially been taken off the books for.

Requested the new cc code so I can eventually make that balance transfer!

Also got some more gift vouchers from surveying so will probably spend some of them over the weekend on some bits and pieces for the flat.

Feeling a bit more postitive about money at the moment, have a pending payment of £100 from one of the ms companies, and although my credit card repayment has crept up to 40 months I can clear a big chunk of the extra with the ms money before I do the balance transfer - had hoped the code would arrive in todays post but since it hasnt I'm hoping for it to turn up on Monday then I'll feel alot more relaxed when I see the time til its cleared coming down.

Spent almost £60 today in argos, a table, a dvd storage unit and a new cordless phone later I realise why I still try to find the time to complete toluna surveys at least every couple of days! £60 in gift vouchers is not to be sniffed at when its the end of the month and not only are we both skint but hisself is on sickleave and gets bored and spendy.....

Finally reached payout on pureprofile, so should have £25 lovely numbers on their way to my bank account at some point in the next month or so. Also paid an extra £25 off the credit card from the paypal money which landed in my account today.

Also signed up for swagbucks thanks to a ref from Flying_Fresian, will have to make sure to visit the site daily but will make it my second search engine after the yahoo/nectar one gives me the max points.

Still busy with todays crop of toluna short polls and an oddly long list of emails recieved today which contain survey invites.

Still no sign of the activation code for the cc....1x stroppy phone call to them will be occurring tomorrow if it doesn't turn up in the morning.

All in all today has been rather a good morning and I've only been out of bed for half an hour!

Phone call from work site asking if I'm willing to be pimped out to another dept for the evening, so that'll be about 4 hours of extra money next month plus with any luck some tips as it's a cash event.

Plus the cc code finally arrived, just checked the egg statement and a couple of the payments I made to it this week aren't showing yet so as soon as they do - probably monday - the balance transfer will happen and the egg repayment will be cancelled.

And a nice giveaway/comp win was dropped through the letter box in the form of a very cute Ben and Jerrys cow carrier bag.

Another 4 hour overtime shift booked, such a shame that it's only paid at my normal rate, a few hours on enhanced rates would make a nice dent!

For some reason I'm still not able to make a balance transfer to the new card, wondering if its because I've only just fully activated it so will try again tomorrow.

Got some lunch in the oven then will be off to do a quickish mystery shop then I will come home and go for a run!

Apparently the balance transfer requires me to call the issuing bank as there's a known problem with their system not recognising the egg card numbers, oh the joy, need to get up early on Monday to do that before work then!

Found out that tomorrows extra shift is me working at an event I was invited to by a couple of friends but as its a fishing club event didn't think would be much point me turning up at, so am actually quite pleased to be working it for that reason too - plus I know I'll end up in the pub after the event finishes.

Couple of products for a testing survey landed appeared next to my front door today along with a rather lovely payment from the shy foresty survey company in my paypal account. I think that puts my pp account back at over £10 so I'll request a transfer tomorrow if it is.
