  • Hey ladies, thanks for the welcome back, yeah it was a fab time, Mr S wants to save up and just move out there, tbh if I'd let him I think he'd just have not bothered to come home again, which was a relief as I was quite nervous about what he'd make of the village given it was like my second home while I was in my teens.

Back to work this afternoon, not feeling too much like skiving off yet which is rather surprising.

  • Slowly working through the emails from while I was away, ordered at least another 20 free ebooks, and managed to earn a few £'s towards assorted survey co's including reaching the magic £4 from crowdology. So that's been transferred to paypal and withdrawn to my bank account along with the other £6 which was already in the account, will take that off the credit card when it arrives too.

Had a surprise refund cheque from my old phone network so have got that in to the bank asap, so once that clears I have just short of £300 to pay off the credit card.

Picked up and did a couple of quick mystery shops while I was in town, so getting those written up, and have a couple more to do this evening.

Did the post holiday weigh in and have only put on 1lb while I was away which I'm fairly content with, just need to get myself sorted and start running again to kick start the loss again.

Shifted the money in my account over to the credit card, and updated whatsthecost with the recent interest rate change and assorted holiday purchases, so the current date it'll be paid off in full is looking to be June 2014, so a couple of months longer than before. But there's still the £70 from the cheques to send over once they clear which should put it fairly close to back to being cleared by April 2014 (or to be exact £1.23 away from the target date!).

They've also kindly confirmed the credit limit increase from £1800 to £3600 fingers crossed I'll resist the urge to actually use it!

Cheques haven't cleared yet (not that I expected them to) but the £10 I transferred from paypal has arrived so is on the credit card along with money to cover a mystery shop I did yesterday, so when the cheque money is transferred it should get me back to my start point of clear before April 2014.

Also got another £15 amazon gift voucher from a net activity study, it's not noticably slowed my lappy (its slow and carpy anyway) nor apparently affected my phone so will leave it running til December for another voucher and another £4 in to my paypal account from surveys, might try to get some bits on ebay tomorrow to get that total boosted up again so I can withdraw soon.

New work hours are going to take some getting used to, finished work at lunchtime came home had a wander around town with the boy before having lunch then went for a nap....and woke up again at 2230, so much for the short nap, go for a run then have dinner plan.

Net result, not being tired now, so have checked my banking, the cheques were showing as cleared so have transferred between banks and will pay off the credit card either tomorrow or monday (cc site is down for maintainence at the moment).

Done some more surveys finally managed to complete another globaltestmarket one, think when I reach payout next time I'll be dropping them as it just takes too long to get anywhere with them these days - my last completed survey was 2 months ago and Feb before that!

  • Looking forward to my next day off!

Work was weirdly busy today, just never seemed to have time for a breather or to get any restocking done.

The pet idiot sent me off on a rather random shopping errand this morning so should be transferring the money in to my bank account tomorrow so I can pay it off the credit card - happily over half of the purchases I made were paid for by gift vouchers so the money will be a nice little extra payment off the card.

Got a couple of mystery shops booked tomorrow but might be dropping one as it'll make me a loss overall - the train ticket is more than the fee, so unless I can pick something else up to do at the same time I'll probably not bother with it, as I'm only going to want to 'go shopping' while I'm in the town.

Had quite a nice day doing very little, rolled out of bed at lunch time as the beloved one had alarms going off every 20 mins from 4am until he left the flat at 7.15am....I could quite happily have killed him!

Wandered around town, got weighed (-1lbish), booked myself another dentist appointment for early October. The made some more flapjack, used black treacle rather than golden syrup this time with the lemon curd, was better than I expected - I thought the treacle would be too bitter but it's lovely not too sweet, pity it's so very unhealthy.

Managed to reach redemption level at harris poll, so have requested a £25 amazon voucher.

Work was quite boring but as I ran home I now have to go in tomorrow to pick up my uniform so I can have it washed - might attempt the journey on my bike if it's not too windy.

Stupidly been looking at rentals to get an idea of just how much pursuasion I'm going to need to employ to get the boy moving at the end of our lease here...saw a really nice 2 bed terrace for a little bit more than we pay for the flat, in exactly the area we were talking about available from December, very tempted to call and see if I can view it, but as I have no money to pay for a deposit or referencing fees I don't think it would be wise (the credit card would cover it but I DO NOT need more debt on it!). That said I might mention it to the boy, as unless we move before Chrimble I'll have to organise it all on my own as he'll be away in January, but that leaves the fun with paying two sets of rent for a month which certainly I can't afford even if he might be able to.
