Options
Hi, I've had terrible problems with our computer and have followed all the advice on the sticky about malware, cc cleaner etc. Now I've done the hijack this - could someone please have a look and tell me what to do next. Computer still running really slowly and crashing occasionally.

I've tried to post the hijack this log - but as a new user it won't let me post with the links?? What can I do now?

Your main problem is you have 2 (or more) anti virus programs running (Panda and Trend Micro)

Id recommend uninstalling one of them for now (Panda)
Once the machines clean uninstall the other and replace with AVAST or AVIRA

    ...........................................................

UPDATE malwarebytes and run another FULL scan then ~

    Please run COMBOFIX
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
    Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
(If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)

  • when running malware again - it is saying that nothing is found - so I can't tick and fix anything!

I meant tick and fix in HIJACK THIS

  • I've run combofix and get a blue screen with bad_boot_header...(I think it says) with a major problems warning! I've rebooted and am able to connect to 'net - still very slow though. Suggestions?
  • just run combofix again - same blue screen saying computer shut down to avoid any damage.... and an error with lots of 00000 on it. :(
