Even broken glass would be a difficult one to reject, you'd have to somehow prove that the foglamps (located at the bottom of the bumper...) could cause injury to a passing peadestrian.

You cannot have anything sharp or dangerous otherwise an mot failure, understand??
No, it's agiven, anything that can damage a pedestrian is a fail, go check.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Should have done an emergency stop and swerved to avoid it...... You might have had a head on with another car or ended up wrapped around a tree, but at least the poor bird would be ok!“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Hi,
Right, there is no broken glass as the unit has been removed as the darn pheasent cracked the bracket holding it in and it was rattling around inside my bumper. So it's just a hole.... is this going to be classed as dangerous?
Sorry to sound so dim....

:rotfl::D It now seems like that might have been the easier option!!!!!0 -
It's funny this thread has come up today as just this afternoon I was going along the B6343 country road when I saw two pheasants ahead. Quick check in the mirrors, no cars to be seen, slowed right down. No damage to all parties involved. :cool:0

The men in white coats should remove all pheasants, they are just plain stupid creatures.;)
I bet that nobody has ever seen a dead crow, I haven't in many years.0 -

Some may not approve of this, especially all ye animal over people lovers....
I don't slow or take evasive action for anything smaller or lighter than a medium sized dog, aside from the badger which ran out across a dark unlit road at 11:30pm (I'd have avoided if I had actually had time to see it), all i've hit has been 2 wood pigeons, a turtle dove, a magpie and maybe a pheasant (bit I think it ducked in time).
I've stopped/avoided 3 wandering or stray dogs, 3 sheep and 1 escaped horse/pony. The horse was pretty unmissable but two of the dogs nearly got me a car planted into my boot.
Everything else moved when it ran out of bravery.... Bird's and cat's mostly.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
