I can't make pastry, have tried and tried over the years, I think I get frustrated and beat it into submission.:rotfl:

I have no shame in buying ready made, even shortcrust now you can get a sweet version. Its as good as if not better than mine, so better that than something inedible.

its one of my food fears along with meringues and white sauce but i mastered white sauce ok! I think it's all the folding puts me off. I would probably get confused he he! Thanks for the [STRIKE]threeway[/STRIKE] dodgy hug:rotfl:

I just want to say thank you for bumping up this thread. I've had a wonderful evening reading through and now feel inspired to try piemaking....but not tonight!!
