Hi, Rikki! While we're sat here munching the popcorn waiting for the main feature, can we review the culinary odyssey that has led Mr BE to this point.

I was with him for the chocolate yoghurt cake, but haven't seen his work before.

I heard mention of a casserole. Do you have any links to other recipes he's been involved with?

    Penny. x

You are warned to take precautions. Tissues and Tena lady.

Bloke wants to cook chilli without cheating!

Chick-pea curry for bloke help please!

    kedgeree for bloke

Chocolate yoghurt cake - the sequel!

Reading these may take you a while, but they are hillarious.

I'm doing that, too! just come in to see if there's any progress.

Can someone get the kettle on for when I'm done?

    Thanks, Penny. x

That was: (a) very funny and (b) very clever! :T

Well....the (200lb ) Goon with the Spoon has arrived. :j Not enough time to reply to all the posts this afternoon, but thank you all. You may be seated. :D

I have washed up and cleaned the bit of the kitchen I plan to use (i.e. photograph). ;)

I have played about a bit with some thick tinfoil, and managed to come up with this:

    Pievent.jpg

It's a bit rough, but I think it'll do the job. :D I'm just gonna have a quick cuppa while I review the instructions, and then I'll start. :p
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
