    Evening all luffley NSD'ers

Well I have made it to number 2 :j. Now have three rubbish bags  as well as stuff I took to the clothes recycling bank (all holey, no good to e bay) and the cardboard is now overflowing due to the panic I had later on........good job it's cardboard recycling week this week :rotfl:

I'm the treasurer on this committee that I go to once a month in London and was getting everything ready so I could fill out the report for tomorrow and couldn't find it anywhere  It wasn't in the usual bag and I couldn't even find the cheque book:eek: after much searching and cursing and throwing away of rubbish I found in the process of looking I eventually found my notes on the table under all my election stuff paperwork and the cheque book in a handbag that I haven't used after realising that I had taken it to work with me to use the paying in slip to pay a cheque into the account, made the mistake of checking the date I had done that while I was checking everything else and it was the day after Orphan had died....I must have been on automatic pilot, the fact I hadn't taken it out shows me where my head was at :(

Still all's well that ends well and I am all ready now and have lots of clear space to keep stuff when I get back so I don't lose it again :rotfl:and have put my tickets into my bag so I don't forget them (got them cheap when I got the one to Mum's and picked them up at the station at the same time) at least I had remembered where I put them so I must be getting better ;)

    See you all tomorrow

If I ever needed reminding of why I do this - today was a case in point - went to Lidl for a bottle of wine for niece's pressy and came out with 2 pizzas, face cream. lemonade and assorted trivia totalling £18.83! The wine was only 4 squids! Mind you the pizza is cheaper than our usual Sat Night Takeaway, and there was a day far, far in the past where I would spend well over £18 on a face cream alone in the days of invisible mney, ie credit cards

Me too, Jinty and, to be honest, £18 would have been cheap. I use own brand stuff nowadays and I actually think it's much better than the expensive stuff, my skin is much better....

Then I phoned sis to arrange a time to go and see them before they leave for uni tomorrow only to be told they are too busy to"fit us in" and dont know when they'll be around, so I left the bag of presents outside their door and stomped off in the huff.:mad:

Still, a good walk with OH and doglet and a bag of chips and an Irn Bru restored my equilibrium! The beach was beautiful, nice and sunny and lots of folks enjoying the weather! We're going back tomorrow as there is a sea swim race on, so we'll go and watch, maybe take some sarnies and a flask.............free free free!;)

Sorry you couldn't see your niece before she left for uni, that's a shame.... but glad you enjoyed the walk and chips.

Have a lovely day tomorrow, sounds like good fun, wish we lived near a beach, I love the sea:D

    Hi lovely NSD gang :A

Lots of NSDs, weddings and weeding;) for day 4, well done everyone, let’s keep it going this month!!:j:j

A very warm welcome to all our newbies signing up this month, new people are always welcome to join, we’re a a very friendly, if slightly insane, bunch and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps. We are, however, very serious in our aim to cut down on our spending and are happy to give advice/tips/hints so please ask if you’re not sure about anything. Everyone seems to have more success if they post regularly on here and join in the chat - not sure why, but it seems to work, so please feel free to join in :D:D

Morrning All. Well got a small bit of the garden weeded, also cut back some plant's that were taking over the path ugh!the amount of snail's hiding under them as well the only reason I stoped weeding was cause I had to go to the wedding don't think coz would have liked me turning up in scuffy gardening gear..........but was tempted. Made a nice change to see most of the extended family in one go. And the reason I come on is to declare early, only thing I'm doing is going up to Dad's + Bro's to drop off some of the apple crumble's I made the other day, and nip round to freind's house to pick up more apple's should keep me out of mischiff
